So I've been looking at all the different types of surgery for mtf and I've found out quite a lot, but I've just recently been looking at what can be done body wise n all I could find thus far is...
Rib removal
But implants
Breast implants
and one that relocates the belly button
Is there any more, other then ffs and srs?
there's also fat transfer/grafting, and hip implants

and one that relocates the belly button
What is the purpose of moving your belly button?
There's also silicone injections and pmma injections... Not advocating them but they exist
I think most of those are pretty questionable, if not actually dangerous.
I never heard of the belly button one though?
The fat transfer is interesting. There's quite a lot of information about it, but very few trans people seem to have done it. I've no idea why, since it sounds ideal. I can only guess it doesn't work very well.
There's also voice surgery and hair transplants, which as far as I know are both ok.
Maybe in the future we could have brain transplants;) I'm not joking! Ftm would find a mtf and they could switch bodies! I dream big dammit;) they said man would never fly and here we are;)

That would be the perfect solution.

More likely they would find a way to fix us so we don't want to - much cheaper and less social disruption.

I don't think I would opt for that...
My body is more than just male or female, it has a history and I would not want to trade it for something unknown, even when I can't pass.
Dr Z offers body sculpting.

Belly button relocation is to lower the belly button to a more feminine location, it's a bit obsessive to detail, but if I had the money, I would get absolutely everything done.

Thanks for that, didn't realise that one... thought the rib removal would give the impression of belly button in approximately right location... learn something new everyday, right

In theory... you could do leg stretching.... if youre less than 5'5 to get your body parts in proportion and get feminine legs.....
....
40k at least.
..i rather be short in a tall world... is that weird? Its like something cute about it.
Its tragic on old men though... like its only cute if you look cute.
I think belly button relocation is mostly done when one had other surgeries that shifted it. Fat removal and body sculpting maybe. Also some GRS techniques are moving the belly button downwards. So a lower belly button is considered to be more feminine?
What about the leg length? Is there really a more feminine quality to longer legs in proportion? I think that is more a beauty thing than a gender thing, right? I even read somewhere that the average female has actually shorter legs in comparison to the torso than the average guy - but just by a few fractions of a percent or so.

Meh, mine can stay where it is.... I think it's cute and feminine already :)
Lol, same as Clhoe, if I had the money I'd do everything I could! In fact I would walk in with a picture of Christina Applegate (or the singer from Russian Red), a huge wad of cash and say 'Fix it!'
I have had lipotransfer from the abdomen to buttocks and am currently 3 months postop.
I did not have much fat to begin with and was 160 pounds when I had it performed (5'9"). The results were good shortly after, but once the swelling went down the results were much less than impressive. I can hardly notice it now. My weight went up to 168 pounds after the surgery due to being unable to exercise and have since gone down to 154 from diet + exercise. Much of what I read about the surgery elsewhere is that it needs more fat available for transfer than what I had. From a biological stand point this is only a temporary measure anyways due to the cell life cycle. About half of the fat will die during surgery and even after that they will still die from natural life cycle. The main reason I chose this was to remove stubborn belly fat which is the last to go from exercise/diet. Putting it in the buttocks was just a bonus. Aside from that there is still pain from stretching abdominal muscles that were scraped against with the suction tube from the liposuction.
I would just recommend diet and exercise with a body shaper such as a squeem. Hope that gives a bit more perspective on it.

I'm having lipo, fat grafting to the hips, and butt implants early next year. Originally, I was wanting to get hip and butt implants at the same time, but my Surgeon dissuaded me from this, because it would have increased the risk for infection. According to my Dr., 60% of the fat that is transferred will survive and become permanent; I'll be disappointed if that doesn't happen, but at least it is not a very expensive procedure, since the fat will already have been harvested during the lipo.
How about the 2nd and 4th finger resizing? Men have the 4th (ring finger) longer, where I believe the women's pointer finger is longer..
Now anybody that picky about their body, I offer my new band saw;)
I'm sure we could break and extend a bone in the pointer finger like they do for leg lengthening.
I wished it was my middle finger that needed extended and I'd do it;) i would have a great excuse sticking it out to people. Hehehe

YAY! Index finger! At last! A surgery I DON'T need :D
Hi Missymay, who is doing your butt implants. Can you recommend the surgeon. Does he have a web site as I am considering this.

The way to measure this is not by look, n I've found some good information on how to work all this ratio thing out by pictures

I also found this information about the facial ratio , y'all might find interesting, I'm thinking I'll probably show n ask my ffs surgeon about it, when I get enough money to get it done.

Ok I know I'm still going out side the topic, but I found another face ratio picture yous will probably find interesting. Mmm?? Maybe I should search for body ratio measurements, that'll be more on topic.

Am I the only one who finds it scary that people dig so deep into it to perfect-ionize their feminine side o.o? I don't say people here will go that far but.. all those theories.. wah > _ <.
Nah, you should read some academic literature that goes into the extreme, compared to here. Feminization at this point in time is barely getting out of the dark ages with the internet. People are just looking for reliable info. to base their decisions.[emoji41]
Yay my had gets a score 4.3

I think that these facial ratios are something surgeons probably do or should know with their line of work when it comes to ffs, I'm starting to think that I should ask my surgeon about it, if I ever get enough money for it.

I've read a few of those, totally blew my mind, like the depth they take it to, WOW

Well 4.29 but what's 0.01
Pffft, 4.02...I'm sooooo average, sighs.
hmm not all male born people have a pointer figure that's shorter... in fact mine is definitely longer and ive read this is common in mtf's http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Digit_ratio
That's completely different than my thought on it. But for once my useless tidbits of knowledge is sparking a conversation and I'm more interested in the new info.. thank you all for the replies;) more for me to research tonight. I think I heard that finger thing on that tv show ripley's believe it or not? It was on some show.. if anyone can verify this, please let me know;) laters

It's a pretty cool little bit of information.
Quote, Wikipedia.
"Male-to-Female Transsexual People
A study in Germany has found a correlation between digit ratio and male-to-female transsexualism. Trans women were found to have a higher digit ratio than cisgender males, but one that was comparable to control females."
I have plenty of belly fat for my hips. I'd like that done. I want a lower hairline and breast augmentation. Then I will be good. :)

Katrina Average, that's me.... :-\ ... highlight; at least I don't fully fit the male side now... which is a relief... ;)

Buhuu - I have a Sum of ratios of 3.83 - sad. But not new. I know I have stubby hands. But 2d:4d is >1 at least ;)
