Yesterday I come home with a bit of a hedache. After having a few glasses of water I take off my bra and change into a dress. Going into my room to sleep it off I jump on my bed face down. Boobs hit the bed :icon_yikes:. That was smart girl
Today opening the door at work. Thought I turned the handle, went to take a step forward. Door still closed boobs hit my arm, double oww :icon_yikes:.
I love my boobs, but sometimes I don't think they like me very much
Hi Girl I know what you mean .In my Job I handle a lot of heavy test equipment 25Kg and above and sometimes have to get them on or off high shelves or into or out of test racks the number of times I have to pull the unit tight into my chest to lift them squashing the Girls OOH so painfull plus with the loss of muscle streangth makes balancing it on my chest the only way .I am not out yet at work so I can't just ask some nice strong guy to do it for Me LOL .Mind you I have had to start wearing a Bra at work to protect the girls and it does help
Gypsy
Haven't you read the instruction manual that they come with?
Shame on you.
I am sure Cindy will be able to give you guidance especially relating to car doors. :o
This might help.

Yes I learnt I had to do a quick bunnyhop backwards when oppening the work safe. That was a very quick update
Yes, Boobies, car doors natural prey.
My biggest problem thus far has been playing the guitar. I'm only 4 months in so mine are itty-bitty, but that still hasn't stopped me from inadvertently whacking my left one with my guitar from time to time.
I've adjusted my playing style and am getting used to playing around them, but it is certainly not an issue I'd anticipated having! lol
And then Your posture will adjust and You will naturally cross Your arms under THEM (even if You used to cross them on top of chest before).
A few months ago I had to wrestle around a heavy duty 30 ft extension ladder. Normally that meant making use of my height and mass to help keep it upright as it got moved. Well... The last time I had to I didn't have an almost B cup.
Yep there is nothing like 20 feet or so and 80 lbs of aluminum pressing against your boobs that says... no screams "You Got Boobs... silly". OK maybe catching them on the sharp edge of a car door screams it louder :o
I can't wait to experience for myself :)
:D I can assure you, its not as much fun as it sounds :P

Try the Jimmy Hendrix style and you'll never hit them again!
For those who may not be familiar...over the back of the head or plucking with your teeth :D
Car doors, doorways, shelves, even taking a top off the wrong way. Padded bras do help :)

*nods in agreement*
I was mostly saved from all this because I had prosthetic ones for two years before I got hormones. I knocked those things into submission and updated my brain map before growing real ones. But crossing my arms was a source of major and repeated pain indeed. It took me about 5 months to learn to fold them under them.
Not that I'm now pain free. Knocks still happen and sometimes simple gravity, reaching down or sleeping in the wrong position is enough to teach me a lesson in boob management.
But I call them happy problems. After waiting to grow them for 15 years, I only consider it all to be wonderful. Even if I don't always acknowledge it in my swears after painful contact.

Yes!
My wife thinks I wear a padded bra to make them look bigger but in reality they are more comfortable.
I swear back of house is getting smaller at work. On an average day I can clip my right boob three times an hour.
As painful as it can be, I'm loving every minute of it (I think)

I've been wearing glasses for about 50 years. Guess what? I STILL slam them into things. My face and head always miss that large object, but never the glasses.
Yep... door jams.
That and my GFs elbow always seems to find a way to meet the nipple at dead center lol. Luckily, as they've gotten bigger, the fleshy part doesn't bug me as much. Right under the nipple is the worst when poked though.
when i started with hrt, i was very good and never knocked my growing breasts against anything, until one fateful day.. My nipples had been extremely sensitive that day.. and i was busy taking things out of the car.. and the door must have moved.. and as i lent into car.. the top corner of the car door hit my poor developing chest. I actually cried a little.
padded bras help a lot.. yes they make them look bigger. too.. but they protect them against everyday knocks...
this really underscores the disabilities we face as women. Most men never realize how hard it is to do things with boobs, high heels, tight clothes, long nails and smaller / weaker bodies, etc. we still live in a world that takes too much reliance on male strengths.

And this is why Ginger Rogers was better then Fred Astaire. She did everything he did. Only she did it backwards and in high heels :P
I swear the safe coin tray at work is out to get me today. Everytime I've pulled it out bang, bang, bang, oww,
oww OWW
LOL, that's awesome re: Ginger, I'd never heard that one!

For me though, trying to take advantage of those 'male strengths' only made me more dysphoric. Being able to move quickly in loose clothes that made me look fat and carry a 26-pound case of water with ease never brought me anything other than self-hate. Since I was not a man anyway, those strengths did not belong to me but to the body that was holding me captive. Although I do not have much breast tissue yet, I have brushed it against stuff accidentally, even with resultant pain at least once, and I saw it as a pleasant reminder that I am finally evolving into my own body.
