Yeah my doctor was soooooooooooo cool, goofy, awesome, understood where I was on the spectrum of gender. Wrote my prescription boom, sprio, estro 2x a day. I am so fn happy right now just took my first dose.
Congrats!
Love hearing first day stories, still remember the excitement I had (along with a bit of nervousness). Now just remember this following advice going forward: "Take your hormones and forget about them". Since they take awhile to kick in (physically not mentally), just enjoy the calming effect and go about other aspects of your transition/life. When the changes come, you'll enjoy them that much more.
That is wonderful!
Nikki, congrats!
However the doses in your post will probably be edited out.
Anyway I visited the nurse practitioner today and she was super awesome as usual. We just went over labs and blood pressure (I've improved a lot) and she refilled some of my meds. I'm happy although the way I was dressed and the fact that I have stubble got me misgendered today. No biggie. I wasn't trying too hard.
Congratulations. :icon_birthday:
Good for you. I remember long ago when a new doc asked me if I crossdressed (I was wearing ugly male garb) & I said I'm crossdressed right now wearing this boring male type stuff just to fit in. He wrote my scrip for boo coo estrogen..... within 5 minutes.
Yeah ive been wearing girly pants an panties for quite a while lol, she asked.. I was honest, and I think she saw my panties when examining me lol, who knows. Still excited.. I was supposed to start 5 months ago but who cares im on my way now :)
Congrats I still remember 28 past 2pm, 28 July, sitting in my car in the pharmacist car park, looking at the little pill and thinking - my life is about to start.
It did ^-^

I remembered the first time... however it was self med and i was terrified. I took it, immediately spat it out thinking, "what am I doing???), then took it again.
The first time under dr supervision gave me a huge smile. It was official, it was guaranteed and it was properly done. Never looking back!
yay im still excited :P Thanks for the replies!
Love the way you put it Yukihime, I will take your advice xo
