what's is your favorite thing that makes you feel feminine?
a special pair of shoes
a particular piece of clothing
makeup
shaving
what's yours?
Mostly nice feminine undies then shaving, I like the feeling of being smooth
perfume
No body hair and the skin softening from HRT... it's feels wonderful. :) Someday I hope my face feels
the same way :(

Yea!!! My Wacoal feather bra and Shadowline Panties and the feeling of my black Olga night gown on freshly shaven legs, mmmmm Hog Heaven!! :)
one-piece skirt
Barbie~~
I suppose there are lots of things that make me feel feminine, but one that comes to the top of my mind is nailpolish. I do not really feel dressed until I do my nails.
A skirt and heels make me feel feminine.
Gennee
The lip gloss I recieved as a gift from my girlfriend. :)

I agree.
probably my eyeliner. Putting it on makes me feel 100% better, always :)
totally smooth body with long natural nails does it for me.
housekeeping makes me feel femme also. :)
Pantyhose, because getting cocooned from toes to waist in tight nylon feels so different from what I normally wear.
A bra, waist-cincher and padded panty girdle, because they force my body into a more girlish silhouette, and the constant pressure ensures that I can't forget that I'm wearing them.
And finally heels, because they change my walk completely.

Wow -- a chickflick & a duvet, definitely!!
I'll substitute a mug of herbal tea, though. Too many calories in wine. As for the chocolate ... *SIGH* ... not any more.
Im afraid there are times when wine and chocolate are needed about as much as air in a womans life...
In vino veritas as the Romans used to say. Which does make it dangerous. But I'm all down with wine.
Funny, because of the institution of the trendy wine bar, I think it's more 'In Vino Lies, Boasts, Exaggeration and General Cow Excrement'.
In Vino Lies, Boasts, Exaggeration and General Cow Excrement
That would mean it's catching up to beer and ale.
looks like we will have to be dedicated cider drinkers :)
Good for you then Pica. But I'm with Ben Franklin (Famous American Guy) who said: "God gave us beer because he wanted us to be happy." I'm down with that.
so here's my list of things to do to feel femme:
get drunk
dress up
get more drunk
btw..you sure are a cutie Starbuck
Funny enough I don't like to drink when I'm dressed up. Some things are better at home.
wait... you have to drink naked? :S Thats where
but of course, it skips that fumbling with the bra thing.
Hmm... a lucid dream isn't a bad way to feel, and look feminine. Particularly when you can adapt your entire dream world to accommodate you and your wishes. However, failing that, a good meditation session or trance experience works wonders. For me, anyway. :) It's nice to be able to be the real me, the person I am inside, without any restrictions.
I'll... go dance with the squirrels under a full moon or something, lol.
Leiandra, new-age priestess. ;D
When I'm getting ready to go out...showering, putting on my lingerie, doing my hair and make up, deciding what I'm going to wear, and finally pulling on those black pumps...
All of that really shifts me into my femme state of mind.
First it was the undies. I like the feeling of the elastic around my hips and thighs. Then shaving and applying fragrant lotion all over. Then I do my nails, but I only paint my toes. I wear a bra under a heavy jacket in the winter, sometimes with fake boobs. This is funny, I've been caught by women who knocked me off in public places after they realized my chest wasn't just pectoral muscle.
I also gaf, tape my penis and scrotum back to give the appearance of a flat crotch. It looks good but it cuts off circulation.
I used to wear pantyhose but they are cold in the winter so now I wear wool tights. A little more expensive but definitely worth the extra dollars.

That'd be my vote, too. I like them, and they are something you can wear hidden to make you feel girly on the inside even if you have to keep up the manly on the outside. :) And I think they're one of the few garments that are really almost completely feminine, in that men have pretty much nothing analagous to them. With perhaps the exception of bras, but those are fairly pointless if you've got nothing to put in them. ;)

you do realise men used to wear tights (hose) before women?
For me, it is waking up in the morning and not having to deal with 'Him' any more. I now see the woman I am in the mirror, even on my worst days.
I get that with my boyfriend.... Whenever we are out, or even just at home, and he smiles and says 'i love you'. I feel like the goddess of hte world ^_^

Yeah, I think I'm the one that brought that up in another topic. :) But it hasn't been true for a long, long time... So much so that in today's world, it's basically almost entirely a feminine thing.
And while 'tights' may have been a manly thing in days past, it hasn't been true since the invention of nylon, for sure. ;)

tights are hose ;)
High, strappy heels. :) I hardly ever wear them, so when I do, it's extra special and makes me feel really girly.
bridal wear for me
I guess that because it was the first thing I ever put on that made me feel whole and fem, I would have to say a silky shiny pair of pantyhose. Add a pair of tall open toe ankle strap heels and I'm feeling sexy, submissive and fem.
Earrings and make up do it for me.
Also lingere which I wear all the time.
Its the eyebrow and clean face that make sme feel feminine...
Passing, I feel like a boy in a dress until I'm accepted.
lipstick, lace and liner,
my heels and my hose.
a touch of blush upon my cheeks,
some powder for my nose.
"these are a few of my favorite things"

This gets my vote too, for much the same reason. Since I believe I will never pass, I have to settle for those hidden delights. I wear pantyhose almost every day, and my wife buys them for me when I need new ones. Since coming to this forum I have learned the art of tucking, and I really enjoy going through my day tucked and in pantyhose. Ahh, the simple things in life...
hm for me my first pair of girl jeans that i just bought this week And my three pairs of hose, and two pairs of knee high & thigh high socks that i've bought. oh and panties, but i do want to get a dress as well
Everything. I love my wig but Trying to grow my own hair out.
Being treated as a woman by others. But makeup and fem hair helps too! and yes...earrings, pretty dangly ones.
Earrings and knee-high heeled boots :)
I'm not sure because I generally feel fem. most of time. I suppose all my girrrrlie stuff play a role in it to some degree. I just can't decide ???
Pantyhose make me feel the most feminine especially over freshly shaved legs with a slinky dress or skirt!
Me as well Pantyhose over freshly shaved legs
Another thing for me is putting on nail polish and wearing high heel shoes and cause my bra :-)
My first thought was earrings and lingerie but playing with my 2 year old grand daughter makes me feel just right.
Men's shoulders :P
panty hose and sexy heels. I agree with nice nails also. I love painting my nails. They're natural so it's fun. I love tall sexy heels. however, I'm already 6 foot tall. With heels I attract of attention. I sort of like that too. Genevieve

Shoes, shoes and more shoes. I have a thing for shoes. It is so bad I have to avoid shoe stores that may have my size because the urge to buy is overwhelming. Twenty two pairs at last count. And I only own three pair of men's shoes. Is this shoe thing highly unusual or do many of us have the Emilda Marcos syndrome. Hugs, Genevieve
Nail polish. Easiest to see all the time and I love the reflection of my own long polished nails. Eeeee, ::) DG
Thigh high socks. Pantyhose doesn't really do it for me... it's alright, but I prefer the socks :)

So true, except I don't
make myself feel fem, I just kinda sorta feel that way, sometimes more deeply than others.
When my gf plays with my hair, I melt. That makes me feel really feminine.
But last night when my T (who hasn't ever seen me dressed since i came out to her several weeks ago) asked "How do you want to present to me?" I gushed, 'Let's go shopping and we'll see.'
And so, the possibility of clothes shopping with my gf, yea, that too.
Agreed, I don't have to make myself feel fem. That's just how I feel
I think another way to view the question would be, what is your favorite thing through which you express your femininity? This is the crossdresser forum but it seems a lot of us are dropping in from other locations :)
True, Virginia is from the Nether World and likes to flaunt her newly formed breasts
Checking in with my inner- feminine self.
Meditation/ visualization techniques rock.
The baths, shaving, nylons, heels etc. etc. are all external, for me its whats inside that counts.

Sigh! Yes, flirting with someone I fancy -- or even just talking with a friendly soul! -- would make me feel extremely feminine. Provided that they accepted me as "one of the girls," that is.
Alas, I doubt that will ever happen. At least not in this lifetime. So until my next re-incarnation, I make do with stockings and heels and fantasies.

Believe me people will pick up on femininity even if you dress male. Just flirt with people for the fun of it, it's only being polite at the end of the day. Straight guys are the most amusing as they are the least aware and generally they respond subconsciously before realising what they are doing. It's fun and makes people feel good.
I have not done too much dressing yet, but through my experience in drawing, coloring and being artistic, I would say eye-liner, eye-shadow, some foundation, a feminine hair-style and female clothing to compliment that would be my ideal feminine characteristics :3
My personality reflects my self image, so that is a given lol
Let's not forget goth/emo without 'hate the world' feminine attitudes :)
My girlfriend recognizing me as a female makes me feel feminine too X3

It is finely warming up here, so I'm able to wear my camisoles to bed now. (Still have to add a sweater though) I like the pink one with lace trim at the bottom that shows off my boobs and barely covers my panties
I also got a new lipstick from Avon that has 24K gold spec.s in it. I like the color and the gold spec.s give off a nice shimmer
And the shoes.... Oh my I love my open toed pumps
Panties are number one on my list. Though being shaved is practically tied. And who can forget make up?

Barbie~~
A complete outfit - clothes, hairstyle, shoes, discreet Make up - just typically like woman look.
In spite of my 1.93 m I have got the last years, however, already some compliments.................................
Nothing beats a nice satin bra with matching panties. Throw in silky pair of thigh high stockings and a garter belt, now I am happy. :)
I have always loved the feeling of silky underwear and the look of my legs in high heels.
Shave and cream my legs, pull up a pair of nylon stockings, and attach them to garters. Slip into a pair of 4" heels and walk around the house, look into the mirror, and rub my hands up and down my stocking legs.WOW.
Stockings and shoes make me feel the most feminine, but if its time for bed, a nice satin nightgown will do nicely.
I was thinking about this one the other day and really for me it is probably when I can talk to other women without me being seen as a male...sort of. Like when my girlfriend and I were going out we would hang out with all of the girls from her dorm and because I was "taken" there was nothing to worry about. I was just another person and I loved that because to me it was like that scene in Some Like It Hot where they are on the train with the girls having a party drinking and telling jokes and all just being friends. That's my favorite thing to make me feel feminine.
I know I said this a long time ago in this topic....
...but now more than ever the answer is simlpy.... Me....
I don't need anything more than a quiet moment to myself to explore my feelings...
..I live in hope that one day someone might share my exploration... and share my understanding...

I'll always remember the first time a man ever opened a door for me, obviously assuming I was a woman. I was dressed rather simply and androgynously, but with my hair well below my shoulders and fairly feminine looking. He probably realized the situation, but was very courteous, just the same. I think I've never felt more feminine than that moment.
A pair of shiny hose and my 5 inch open toe stiletto heels
I have all kinds of stuff that make me feel more fem. But I'm already rather fem. to begin with.
I have noticed that my open toed ecco pumps really do it for me. They only have a 1 inch and 1/4 stacked heel, but they are so comfortable and give me just enough something :icon_chick:
Getting ready to go out, doing my hair, plucking my eyebrows, shaving, getting dressed, putting on make-up and jewelery...
The swish of a silky slip against nylon stockings when walking.
Shopping en femme with my girlfriend. Being treated as one of the girls by our GGs friends.
Having my nipples caressed or kissed. Having my bottom gently fondled.

In my part of the country, pantyhose and nylons have all but disappeared. If only the oldest women still wore them and mainly for medical reasons, would wearing them have any appeal for crossdressers ?

I had been preoccupied with silk stockings since I was a little kid. Strangely, I became no so much interested in nylon hoisery after starting crossdressing. However, I sometimes wear them, and they can emphasize my leg line and warm my body a little bit. In winter, tights and leggigs are more popular, but still silk stockings are a part of formal dress for women here.
Barbie~~
That's a tough one, but I'd have to say that a nice pair of silk panites would rank at the top of my list. Makeup and shaving would tie for a very close second.
Pantyhose and a skirt, closely followed by make-up and a wig. I find these are basic essentials to feeling 'femme'
being the only woman at a meeting.
I've been thinking about this and realized......I'm already rather fem. All the accessories and stuff are just part of it all. How can I put one above another? It is all very important
Being recognized by others as a woman. Use of gender appropraite pronouns and being called ma'am,etc.
I have to agree with Genevieve that being recognized by others as a woman totally validates your femininity.
Donna, Once at the supermarket a guy kept showing up in the same aisle as me. I don't think he was buying the same items. He was just checking me out. I didn't feel as though I was being stalked but felt it was a compliment. He should have for a kiss and I would have.
i still perfer the skirt and bra, nothing is more feminine specific.
A fishnet catsuit or body suit, (black or white) over a very shiny and silky made of the best quality material pantyhose (nude color) that goes over my recently shaved legs and lace tong and my 5 inch leather pointy and needle thigh high heel boots.
A minidress that goes tight 4 inches below the crotch and walking for 10 minutes and sit looking at my legs and boot while doing so......evrything else is extra (makeup, wigs, earings etc)
I have read what many ladies have said on here and at the end of the day it is the contrast of what GG's have every day compared to boring old males. Their clothes are softer, smoother, more colorful, prettier and far more sexy. Any of those things make me feel 'more' feminine. Sighs............................
PS I like chic flicks too by the way **smiles**
since i always underdress,i guess its when i get up in the morning and start putting on my lingerie.and also when i am geting ready to go out to my meetup group and start putting on my girdle and nylons. :D
HRT improved skin and moisturizer. mmmmmmmm
I go with some of the others in that being recognized as a woman is the best feeling of all.
Pantyhose and heels for sure, a dress and a stuffed bra work wonders in addition
Hair and Shoes :D
Oh and accessories (necklaces, earrings, etc)!
I know for me it is getting into my Danskin shiny tights after properly tucking, and then putting on my tightest one piece older style (50s) bathing suit, and of course wearing the proper make up.
After pulling on my tight white rubber bathing cap and fastening the chin strap as tightly as possible, and putting on my white ladies bathrobe and going down to the public pool at the hotel where I am staying, and going for a swim.
Other people there can only wonder. Is she or isn't she a real woman.
I get a hugh kick out of their stares because they do not seem to be able to tell one way or the other.
Definately a dress, skirt or heels for this girl.
My long hair...Closely followed by make up and perfume!
so many things just so many things. mostly a nice pair of panties with of course the nice smelling pads i'd had some problems with trying to get rid of the (BLEAGH) man stink but that problems solved (or at least toned down somewhat), and aside from that lipstick and nail polish. and just great girl clothes i got this great looking pair of boot cut jeans through i think i'll have to wash them first get them nice and tight and i'll feel better (giggle) i know it's odd but that's just me. oh and yesterday i was in belk trying to find what i think it was a tunic but i never could find anything cause belk hides there big girls clothes under a different name. but i couldn't find anything but i did find the long sleaved shirt that i would have loved to have got but . . . (cries) it was too small sides i'll try again later on in the week.
My one favorite thing would have to be pantyhose. But only after I have shaved. As they feel so good going on smooth skin. But then a skirt, silky top with some 4in high heels is very nice and sexy as well. ;D
Perfume !
Freshly shaven legs, for sure. Followed by nice cotton panties and romantic comedies. But, the legs really do it for me.
Ginger
Definitely pantyhose or stockings (but I prefer pantyhose for sure).
That's where it started for me, but now though it's a necessary article of clothing for feeling fem, it's not enough - I have to don the whole apparel, from make-up to heels.
hmmm... I'd say it's a toss up between freshly shaven legs or ultra shinny lip gloss. :icon_chick:
Smooth legs for me and no body hair anywhere else except for my head.
For me its suspenders, stockings,a silky short dress and 3 inch heels.

the pain we go through for beauty
IT has been over a year since that wonderful day I discovered I am a cross dresser... and I love it
Wearing black pantyhose over my freshly shaven legs and feeling the bra straps around me... is great
but what really makes me feel feminine is the act of shaving my legs and painting my toe nails (wearing that nail separator make me feel good), putting on my eye makeup and lipstick and putting on earrings (I do have pierced ears). I really feel like a woman when doing these tasks
For me, my panties and stretch jeans with the occasional leg shaving was enough. But now, my wife has accepted my gender expression to the point of buying me nail polish. I am feeling very comfortable and pretty right now and for me that puts me in touch with the feminine.
Lately it's been looking in the mirror after a shower with just my panties on
Shaving my legs. It's probably the most cathartic thing in the universe. All my worries just melt away, and everything in existence comes into perspective.
for me its shaving my body hiar and watching the maleness go down the drain then puting on soem cute underwear (bra and panties, or my fav my blk lace thing teddy) stockings and dress with heels butif ic ant get flly dressed then just feeling smoth legs against my boy jeans is great
dangly earrings and high heels.
having sex with a man
I would have to say it is the freshly shaved and lotioned legs and the deep regal purple toenail polish that my wife bought for me the other day. That's a whole other story.
Yes,Yes,that too P!nk,I love it when a man says to me how lovely I look,in fact everything about being a woman makes me feel so feminine when I think about it,and I dont have to think really hard either!! ::)

There are so many things that make me feel feminine it's hard to choose just one
It's my indecisiveness to choose that is making me feel rather feminine right now ::) ...LOL
Many interesting responses. I truly love all things feminine; sexy underware, beautiful nails, sexy shoes and skirts. Most important to me however is hair; having lots of it in the right place (on my head) and none of it in the wrong places (anywhere on my body). I started full body waxing years ago and have stayed totally hairless ever since. HRT has reduced my waxing frequency. When I finally grew my hair out I felt truly feminine even when dressed a male; I don't do that anymore. When I first had my hair styled I was in heaven. I love my little breasts but without my hairless body and my long hair I would never feel truely feminine.

Many interesting responses. I truly love all things feminine; sexy underware, beautiful nails, sexy shoes and skirts. Most important to me however is hair; having lots of it in the right place (on my head) and none of it in the wrong places (anywhere on my body).
I agree. Feminine hair style is the most important one for me. A week ago, I straigtened my hair in a year at a hair salon in my apartment. The hair dresser charged just ca. US $25. This small money can keep me happy for at least several weeks. My hair now looks so lovely to my eyes.
Today I dyed, as the hair dresser recommended dying in at least a week after straightened hair treatment. The cost is another $25. A total of $50. I was so happy becaue I paid $250 about a year ago to straighten my hair. I will straighten my hair every 3 months!

always pantyhose!
it doesn't matter what I wear with: skirt, dress, shorts, pants, nothing...
For me it's stockings, skirts and heels. I do love skinny, girl jeans though, preferably with my knee high boots.
A skirt and high heels.
a pair of nice heels and smoothly shaven legs... love it... ;)
Talking about girly issues with my closest friends-boys, clothes, and chocolate!
It used to be a denim mini and heels, until I dyed my hair this afternoon.
I thought it would cover the grey and end up the same as my original very dark brown , but it came out a very reddish golden-brown.
I looked in the mirror, and felt like I was actually looking at myself for real, and said " I CAN DO THIS!" for the first time like I meant it!!!
Shaving, skirt, and nails
For me, I would have to say smooth skin and perfume. :)
Denim skirts, thigh-high socks, heels, shaved legs, bettwer fitting shirts, dresses, lipstick, jewelry, and talking to my friends on facebook...as a girl ^_^
Fresh shaved legs in pantyhose, then heels!
Freshly shaved legs, underms, entire bikini area, then black nylons, bra, tight girdle, tampon and pad [hey, it's part of what makes THIS T-girl feel like a total woman :)], heels, and makeup - just luv the taste, smell, and tell-tale stain on my coffee cup :)

I have shaved for years, the tiny tringle I saw on a gal about a year ago said "feminine" and it remindes me daily of my feminine desires. It is pretty cool. Before the triangle some guys suspected I shaved to look gay but now that is not an issue.
To me its a lacy bra with lacy panty.

My wife got me a really pretty gold anklet. I wear it all the time regardless of girl or guy mode, shorts or pants. Only time I take it off is when I go to work (I have a landscaping business) because I don't want to lose it.
My latest experiment is with nail polish, on my toes. The last few days I walk around the apartment barefoot so I can look at my toes every 2 minutes :D
Hi Amy,
I love nail polish as well. Have started doing my kids nails too so that I can leave mine done all the time around them. They have a lot of fun with it and obviously so do I.

I am going to have to agree with that one.
Actually it happened today. Lorne was clearing out his closet of cloths that didn't fit him anymore. I was laying naked on the sofa and he walked in and handed me a black pure silk shirt that was too small for his 6' 2" frame. I tried it on and wow! Although the shirt was way too big, the feel of the silk was incredible, the way it slid over my body. The sleeves fall below my elbow, sorta 3/4 length, and the shirt tails just cover my butt and is a little higher in the front providing just the tinniest of peeks.
Yep... makes me feel feminine. :)

1. having a door opened by a man while enfemme

4. bubble bath and freshly shaved legs
those are the top four...
For me, its
lingerie (or at least cute panties and a cami)
lip gloss / mascara
perfume
nice, shiny, painted nails (fingers and toes)
I don't go out (even in boy mode) without all of the above. Just don't feel 'right' otherwise.

I would have to say, wearing lingerie. Panties, slips, camies, pantyhose, wether its under a dress or under my outer clothes. Wearing those makes me feel good and feminin and feels natural. I prefer wearing lingerie instead of male underwear.
At this point I have to say I just like all of it. If I had to pick something I would say the lingerie and stockings as I can wear them all the time. Though I am really looking forward to finding my own particular smell of perfume.
i shave and put on a miniskirt and a nice top.then i build a small recreational fire.then i set by he fire and relax.
Corsets, definitely! I love the way they change my body shape - it's nice having curves!
Perfume Floral by Gucci or Anais Anais by Cacherel and lingerie for my wife yummmmy what more does a girl need.
So many things have made me feel feminine. It began when I was a child and wound put on my sisters panties. Every time I broadened my experience (putting on makeup, buying a pair of heels, going out in public) I would feel like I made my self more feminine. But without a doubt when I shaved my legs and underarms that did it the most. Because I wasn't just putting some thing on I changed me. Even in male clothes I still feel fem.
Like so many other, being freshly shaved makes me feel feminine. The feel and look of my smooth legs after putting on a skirt or dress and feeling the night air on them is as good as it gets.
It would have to be the sides and fringe hairpiece I wear all the time now to cover the thinning on top. Once I can no longer see the balding bloke in the mirror I am a lot less dysohoric.
Other than that it would be a toss up between my bra and breast forms or mascara. Actually I have just realised I never leave the house without both of them!

For me it depends on the day. Sometimes it's just putting on my black thong, then other times its putting on my favorite 5" platform heels, or I need to be wearing my sexiest bra with breast forms.
1. Make-up : - it's usually just a thick, light-colored layer for me, but with my red, greasy Androgenic skin, it does miracles and changes how I feel about my facial skin totally. It really changes me from masculine to somewhere in-between. I always cover my face with it, and I use the same tone under my eyes and generally all over just to bring out my features and create a solid, no-shine, matte look.
2. A well put-together outfit: - it doesn't have to be specifically female (I personally do love flannel shirts, big shorts, Vans slip-on shoes, all that), but as long as the outfit matches and flows like a female's outfit would, I feel great. I usually pin up my clothing with hairpins in specific places to make it all flow better with my body and face. It really makes so much of a difference in my appearance and emotions, though the clothing items are indeed still mens' clothing.
3. Hairstyle: - I'm growing out my hair, so right now, I'm wearing it in a pony tail, and overall, it looks like a cross between a very sour-looking rich woman and a greaser hispanic guy. It simultaniously makes me look more Native American, and yet somehow a bit more female, it's a very interesting effect.
4. Body Hair: - Without hormones, controlling hair is impossible, though it helps that I live in Boy Mode at the moment. My arm hair is really thick, but very flat and translucent, so I have no problem with that. However, my leg hair is extremely dark and coarse, so I invented a shaving technique that patchworks the hair while not shaving any of it completely off. Works miracles for the overall look. There's still leg hair, but it looks very tame and unobtrusive.
5. Eyebrows: - The inner insides of my brows are balding because of my over-androgen hormone imbalance, so inking/eyeliner-ing/penciling them to be closer together makes me look so much more female it's unreal. I keep very shaped, but thick, eyebrows. Thick eyebrows simply work extremely well for my face, but I keep them shaped and androgynous.
Basically, it's all appearance stuff, but everything else I do in my life activity-wise is stuff I do naturally, so none of it makes me feel better. I simply love prettying up my appearance!

I agree with that. It's getting to the point where I feel like something is missing if I don't have my forms on, and a sexy bra from Victoria's Secret to go with them is definitely a plus ;)
Shaving my legs and wearing a dress for starters but I haven't been out much yet.

A cute pair of panties, love the softness and the elastic around my hips and thighs, they make me feel sexy and comfortable. Having my legs shaved and silky smooth, long finger nails, painted shiny or glittery toe nails and driving my 1991 Ford Crown Victoria. I don't know why the last one does it but it does lol!
Wearing anything female makes me feel feminine, but the best feminine feeling for me is moisturising after coming out of a bath after shaving fully, painiting my toenails and pulling some silk stocking on - it makes me tingle inside :)
For me its painting my toenails and showing them off in strappy shoes.
Well, right now I'm wearing a slip and pantyhose under my work boy clothes but what really appeals to my girl side is makeup and perfume. I wear both whenever I go out and it's a great way to be feminine without being too obvious about it.
Wearing sexy stuff :) and going out with my girls to have some drinks ! and just sit and talk about man and life :P :-*
Cute pair of heels are my weakness ;)

eyeliner and panda eyes...
Physically ... nothing yet. I look so much like a guy right now that dressing feminine or anything just seems to underline my dysphoria. It feels nice to wear those clothes, but then I look in the mirror and just get even more depressed ... so I'll definitely keep from doing that for a while.
Mentally though, I love watching a stereotype girly movie (Bridgit Jones or Love, Actually come to mind) whilst being snuggled up in my blanket and having some ice cream. It's about as stereotype girly as you can get, but I just love doing that. It's the most comfortable feeling ever.

I absolutely love lace. It's my favorite material. I have an off-the-shoulder lace top that is my very favorite piece.
My current favorite is being told,
"If you dressed like that for work, you'd triple the lumber yard's sales."
Simply shaving my legs and feeling them smooth makes my day :)
I have to say 1) My long hair and bangs 2)a gorgeous white off the shoulder dress 3) shaving my legs 4) my pierced ears
For me it is a combination of many things. Earrings, a nice wig are a start.
Panty hose on fresh shaven and moisturised legs. Hanging out with women. who know im trans. I used to really love my hair till I choppped it off.
Mini shorts ,mini skirts(denim stretch) tops like tee dresses(hard to find) VS rocks Im uncontrollably hooked on these as a woman is with shoes.Ive more girly clothes than my GF! ;D
My Mind
A former cheerleader sold me her jacket and ring for need of cash. I can wear the jacket comfortably as long as I leave it open. The ring fits my pinky. I like seeing her name (even though it isn't Alicia) on each item and for just a moment thinking now I am her.
Shopping(just does idk why), my fav panties (black thong with pink bows ftw xD) being shaved i hate having facial and body hair on myself, and just me
Simply to be myself since I'm a female that happens to have her feminine side - though not ALL the time :-)
High heels and g-strings are not an everyday thing, neither is wearing a bras. Yet make-up is pretty much a given - cultural requirement :-)

high heels , thigh high boots to stiletoe heels .
Tights, skirts, heels, pink, purple
I love tights, stockings and garterbelts, pantyhose, skinny jeans, leggings, and basically anything form fitting. It's like an everlasting hug =]
I also like thong underwear, or anything thats supposed to give you a wedgie lols. I know it's kind of trashy but I like it snug and cozy :)
And I wore a corset once. That, was really like a hug. It just felt so secure =]
my weaknesses are make up, high heels, and sexy short dresses >:-)
Almost definitely, it's my girlfriend being aggressive in bed, whether with cuddling or sex. Having my hips played with will really do the trick. xD Other than that, it's all up to my mind to decide when I feel more or less feminine. I really just now started realizing who I was, so I lack the experience and materials to otherwise reinforce my girly state of mind.
The thing that drives me away though... is definitely my masculine face in the mirror. Ugh. Still have yet to try makeup though. .~.
I think the thing that makes me feel the most feminine is to stand in front of the mirror in bra and panties and put on my make-up!

I know one item that will never change are my PINK PANTIES. PinkPenny
Until Wed. the item that made me feel the most feminine were my breast forms in my black & hot pink bustier. The bustier tightened up my stomach and the breast forms give me the weight I love having on my chest. And nothing beats looking down and having my view obstructed by the 2 mounds on my chest. That all changed Wed. when I was corseted for the 1st time. The feeling of the corset tightening and seeing an hour glass figure appear in the mirror put me in a state of ecstasy I never could have imagined. I actually cried on Wed. night when I had to take it off to dress in male clothes.
I've worn bodyshapers for as long as I can remember, but was always hesitant of trying a corset. Just the thought of how it works scared me. I am so mad at myself for being such a scaredy cat. I can't believe all the time I missed experiencing the ecstasy I'm feeling right now. I wish I didn't have to ever take it off.
If any of you have not had the opportunity to wear a corset, I highly recommend you try it ASAP. You will know no greater feeling of instant femininity, I promise.

I just love shaved Legs and Pj's and a nice bath :).
The feeling of freshly shaved legs on satin sheets is my favorite. I think my second favorite is going for a mani/pedi - there is something to be said for being "pampered" a little. And definitely my wig - that makes such a huge difference in my appearance.
And while it doesn't rank higher than the above things for me, I do concur on the corset comments. It's definitely a special feeling.

My heart feels best when someone calls me "girl" but the "thing" is wearing tights and a skirt. I love that little breeze way between my legs!

I don't even own any male undies at all! My drawers are full of lace, silk, satin in pink, purple, black, and all sorts of other pretty colors :)
Got rid of most of my old guy stuff tshirts also and replaced them with gender neutral ones as well as lots of cute cami tops and pretty tank tops....even in boy mode I can still be pretty underneath!
And now that my hair is getting longer I love standing in front of the mirror and seeing how many different ways I can style it...fun!!
My favourite items that make me feel more femenine is my stockings with suspender belt. Full panty matching bra full white slip and my heels. Absolutely love the feel of the stockings and slip against my body. The slip also hides the fact that I'm a man.
Manis and pedis with polish. Wearing Secret deodorant. Shopping and trying on maternity clothes. Taking my women's one a day or prenatal vitamin. Hearing my name called at the ob/gyn office. Being. Instructed to put on an exam gown and told to slide into the stirrups
I love bras! I especially love the fact that I fit into them really well, and fill out the cups completely. Not only do they shape what I have in a very feminine way, they provide comfortable support and it kind of feels like wearing a hug all day! :D
I have gone all out before, bought a dress, put on makeup, lipstick, stockings, high heels and gone out in public... I have to say, this is not for me. Heels make me feel too unstable, like I'm going to fall over any moment. Dresses make me feel very vulnerable, and I don't like the feeling of lipstick on my lips, or other makeup. I find the cosmetic side of dressing up very time consuming and at least to my way of thinking it's for grabbing attention, which is not necessarily what I want to do.
I just want to feel feminine and keep to myself, so spending time putting on makeup and other things to attract the attention of others just seems like a waste of time. I would rather have epicly large, unmistakably femininely shaped breasts. But that's not so much for attention as it is to feel feminine regardless if I'm wearing a bra at the time or not.
Let me count the ways.
1. Not wearing guy clothes ever. I still feel like a woman in them, but just not nearly as feminine.
2. Bras, because they lift up the moobs and make it feel like I actually have a chest.
3. Women's jeans with flared legs because they give the illusion that I have hips.
4. Wearing skirts. Not because of the skirt itself, but because of the very hair free legs that I can now see.
5. Avoiding mirrors.
6. Avoiding nudity.
7. Women's shoes, but not heels. I stumble in heels and just feel like a klutz. And I'm close to 6'5" with heels on.
1. Shaving legs and underarms.
2. Wearing panties and bra.
3. Nailpolish on fingernails and toenails. I can't have long fingernails because I play guitar
4. Having long hair even though I just cut it to my shoulders.
My favorite thing has to be right after I shave or have my legs........especially if I'm putting on a pair of panty hose or thigh highs on right after. That silky feeling is truly to die or!!!!
Recently, getting ears pierced, bras, and nail polish ;)
Pantyhose - the only time I don't wear them is on my nail appointment days. Then it's spanx capri lengh + knee-hi's.
I wear heels to the nail salon and sandals back home.
the indian traditional saree with the matching blouse, along with accessories like mangala sutra, glass bangles, ear studs, anklets and toe rings. Light make up with a red bindi on the forehead and light touch of lipstick, makes me feel fully feminine.
Wearing anything pink my favorite color, but especially a pink chemise with lace trim.
Getting out of the bath, freshly shaved, slip on some panties and my pink satin pyjamas, maybe do my nails, crack open a bottle of rose, and watch as many episodes of New Girl as i can...Zooey Deschanel ::)
1) no body hair
2) nylon panties
3) nylons
4) a bra
5) a skirt
6) A silky blouse
7) make up
8) lipstick
For me, I feel the most feminine with my hair fluttering in a breeze, and that same gentle breeze causes my dress to flow around too. I hold it down with a purse on my shoulder with my painted finger nails. God I want to be there right now. :)
To me, getting a Mani & Pedi is something that always puts me in the feminine mindset :)
Cheers Berti
For me, its no body hair... high heels and skirt.. and little make up :)
my booobs!
Being called young lady. That will never get old. It makes everything worth it.
For me, it's a bra and my breast forms. I also have a new black dress with a lace bodice and a flared vinyl skirt; it's heavenly. :)
I have a new favorite thing that makes me feel feminine, the female orgasm! It is AMAZING!
DRESSES
I just discovered the amazingness that is the dress, and it sure is amazing.
My brain.

Jennygirl you rock on this one! The simplicity of a swishy but classy dress is amazing to feel. And, you wear my fav color while looking so good!

Aww thanks Tessa!! I think purple will always be my favorite color, with shiny at a close second ;)
And yes, I am finding that nothing beats the comfort achieved in both mind and body from a good dress!
A caress...a longing look...a hungry kiss...not really "things", I guess...but damn those make me feel all woman! ;-)
Silky slinky panties
When guys let you go first and get out of the way no matter how gentle and patient your body language is.
God, I just love being a girl :D

True this :)
I would have to say my favs would be a good pair of black heels, red lipstick, and perfume. Ahhh so wonderful! :)
What makes me feel most feminine is the interest from men I receive, where I like to dress for men.
But I am smooth, hairless aside from long head hair, I manicure and pedicure and I dance an oriental sensual dance and have fluid movement where I am known to be gentle in touch and caring of others.
Of clothing what accentuates the way I feel is corsets, braziers and skirts. But of the brazier I only wish I had something natural to put in it as breasts is what I seek.
There is not a lot I can do because I have to keep everything a big secret until I am ready to come out, or I figure out who I am. I do enjoy panties though. I ca hide them under clothes and they are so comfortable, and cute :)
My new favorite thing...the belly button piercing I just got!

If you get it done in a trusted place, yes. I got it done from the number one piercer in the Seattle area. He takes a huge amount of care to be clean.
My Red Shoes tend to do the job;
womans size 10 but they are so andrognous that hardly anyone knows
I've fancied a belly-bar for a while now; I used to have one in my ear which looked nice .
Anywho, my coconut perfume gets worn on the occasions I want to feel that bit extra special.
Anything PINK!

Ooo totally forgot music. Thanks for the track Jennygirl, I loved it.
Well, for me, I love Prince and Kate Bush, they truly let my feminine side blossom. 'If I Was Girlfriend' by Prince couldn't sum it all up much more really.

Wow, lovin' those pink and white high wedges. What size do you wear? ;)
For me now, straight blunt bangs that are even with my upper eyelids. I like to play with my hair and enjoy the pinup styles. Long live Betty Page.

I wear a size 9 (+/- 1 depending on the shoe)
And yeah that style of bang is about as feminine as it gets :)

Yeah with the hair, I kinda' gotta watch out in "male" mode but the longer time goes on, the less I really care of what people think of me.
Cool, Please take those shoes and go to the nearest fedex box and I'll send you the adress to send them. ;) Seriously though, did you order them from somewhere or just find them in a store by chance?
In private soft, hairless skin. In public a skirt and heels.

I got them at a store called Top Shoes in Westwood, LA. One of my girlfriends found the place and they have better selection & price than even the fashion district downtown. If you are in LA and wanna go shoe shopping, I really couldn't recommend any other place that even comes close. They seem to have a lot of sizes 8-11, too- for those of us girls that are a bit taller than the average female. I've even seen some 12's in there.
Next time I go there I'll try to remember to snap some pics of the amazingness. I'm talking racks and racks of $10, $15, and $20 of shoes... glorious SHOES

I have heard of Top's Shoes. Where exactly is Westwood LA, If it's just east of Baton Rouge I think I know where you're talking about. Thanks for the info.

Oh yeah, sorry I meant LA as in Los Angeles. I think you are thinking of Louisiana?
For me, it's in grown hairs. Oh and all the female pronouns. :)

So do you dry shave against the grain with old razors to get down with femininity? :D
Really? Ingrown hairs?? Those used to be the bane of my existence.

Well if you really like ingrown hairs, then definitely never use a clean razor, or exfoliate after shaving. And definitely never EVER use coconut oil as an after shave moisturizer. That stuff takes away ingrowns like crazy and you might end up being verrrry upset with how smooth and perfect your skin becomes ;)

I friggin love that!
All sarcasm aside, I'm gonna try that coconut oil. Thanks for the unexpected advise.
