OK, just my opinion but I love their eyes. Very wistful and romantic, may be it's what they've been through, maybe it's something else, but their eyes are so beautiful :)

In looks, it really depends on the person.
Their openness and acceptance. I went to a support group for transgendered people last weekend and I can honestly say I have never met a more compassionate and friendly group of people in my life.

I also think there's something exotic about their facial features sometimes.. not sure what it is but I've seen biowomen with the same look so be assured it's nothing male I'm seeing.
The fact they are humans - children of God each worthy of love and support.

Most women get to express themselves their entire lives and then you get some transsexual women who have this huge well of femininity that's been locked up forever. And if you're lucky enough to get close to them, it just starts pouring out around you. That's a very beautiful thing.

O, what's beautiful? I have no idea really, but the "exotic" look mentioned above is one I have heard a number of times from FTMs and from some women as well. So that one seems applicable. "Exotic beauty." :)

I must agree with some of the other comments. It is the attitude. Most TS/TG persons tend to be very loving people. Also femininity seems to be very important for them and they act and dress very fem, which I like.

I'm feeling all very fem and little girlish right now.
To my mind, there are some basic actions/responses/attractions that are gender based. Even generalities seem to have a kernel of truth. Boys are rough and tumble girls like dolls. I was "taught" at an early age that my girlish mannerisms and beliefs were not appropriate in a blue collar steel town. I've always ached to express myself freely like other girls did. I had to review every movement and every utterance to make sure it was man-enough.
Now that I can express myself freely, yes, I DO have a well of femininity that I am most happy to share. And I freely share my friendship and love with anyone without any prerequisites or preconceived notions.
And Nero, hon, there would be a line of girls that would want to give you a big wet one. Stand still long enough and it'll happen! (I'll be in line a couple of times!)

I too find most MTF have very intense eyes. I've heard the eyes are feminized by hormones, so maybe it has something to do with the bones around the eyes together with the "brightness" of a female's eyes. Then again, I've seen this in tgirls that transitioned in early or mid teens. It's interesting...
Moving beyond physical qualities, I find FTMs and MTFs alike have wonderful personalities. I think they (I guess I should say we) have to endure more intolerance than perhaps any other group in today's world, certainly for something that doesn't hurt others. That which doesn't kill us only makes us wiser and stronger, and one must really grow emotionally to get through all this to the other side. That includes looking in the mirror sometimes to see how we may be intolerant of others without even knowing it.
Not to mention... trans people have the unique ability to truly understand what people of the other gender deal with, the good
and the bad, and that lends itself to empathy and sympathy that a cisgendered person could never know or experience.
I don't know about the eyes thing, but I do know that trans women really appreciate their femininity. GGs take it for granted as they know nothing besides being able to express it. I think trans women have a grateful attitude for all of the experiences that come their way.

And yes, that's what people have told me.
I am shocked sometimes when I look at myself from the outside now -- I guess I smothered my feminine flame all my life to appear andro (couldn't really get into "masculine" territory even when I tried) --now I glow without trying and sometimes I get disoriented when I see myself and remember simultaneously who I was before, it's very very jarring mentally and I have to let the old memories slip away again before it stunts me.
I have no doubts about where I am when I just "let myself go" and act natural.
I think transwomen also are very aware of what it cost them to make the shift and thus don't take things for granted.

It is very beautiful, I went thru transition young, I was lucky, I love being a girl, I love doing girly things, I love shoes, I love shopping, I love when a guy looks at me in ''that way'' my feminine flame is glowing, but I don't take it for granted, Im just a girl and its beautiful blushing!

There's something about being openly Transsexual - perhaps it's simply that one

I think the thing to recall here is that all of us are pretty much unique. For every woman who has some "understanding" and is willing to find "compassion" there are ten who are more concerned about how people see them and what party line to take to "fit in."

Trust me, there are some of us who happened to be born in the EoE that are doing whatever we can to change our image in the world. I am not happy about what has been done in our name the past 8 years.

The deep-sated ability to dream of doing something more than just being is what makes many transsexuals special. Doesn't make them much different from any wide-eyed 8 year old cradling a book as big as her head and knowing what she reads in it will never come to be.

It's not my place to disillusion any of them, but I do find it frustrating that while I'm getting on with my life in the real world in the middle of transition, all these people are doing it comfortably in retirement, well settled into their roles while the younger ones like me are struggling for rent, education, love, and transition, as well as all the other BS drama of youth.

I don't really understand the question but I was going to go with personality but then again I've met some very disagreeable Transsexuals!
This may seem a hokey answer but....I have two friends that are mtf. The best part is having someone who ha some understanding of what I'm feeling and having actual live people to talk to and one who I work with and stands up for me to some of our clients.
The most beautiful things about MTF's?
They are 100% human, just like everyone else :D
They know what I'm going through, and this might of been said already, often times they look exotic, even if they pass 100%! FTM's and MTF's both are immensely brave, so if I was to say, "Transexuals have a lot of balls", don't take it the wrong way! =P Courage, Understanding, and beautiful in there own way =)

I have felt that I have more "balls" now than when I had testicles. I seem to be willing to take on the world more, and rarely give in to passivity.
Though I wouldn't call myself brave, any more than it is brave to run out of a burning building. Many, myself included, feel that it is a "transition or die" situation for us.

I think, we have collected different experiences. Maybe a role also plays from which countries we come, and which gender picture first-class exists in our countries? I don't know it, but it would be interesting to find this out.
