i hate this my doctor is a prick who wont let me go on T he wants wants me to go on blockers even though im done with puberty.

the court of my county wont let me change my name. the judge denied it and said to come back when im 18.

my parents wont let me get top surgery because they think im going to regret it which ultimately means they have doubts that im trans.

this is really pissing me off so much i just want to smash everything and burn the town down. i really want to beat the poop out of all the people that have ever messed with me.

That sounds really frustrating, especially the lack of parental support. Actually especially all of it I guess. I can't imagine being denied a name change. Even if the judge thinks you aren't old enough to make the decision, it's a reversible and benign procedure and shouldn't be treated like a tattoo or a pack of cigarettes.

What the frack?
Since we live in the same general area, I think we should talk. I've got some local resources that might come in handy (if you want them).

There's actually a judge in Oklahoma that is refusing trans people to get their name changes because they are trans. He considers it fraud.

That's a bad deal. Unfortunately things that are meant to keep you safe can be hurdles in your path. If nothing else, build your resolve and when you are out on your own, live your life exactly how you want to. No compromise. Hugs, Devlyn

That does sux

Until you turn 18 you really are stuck === name change can't occur unless you have parental approval.  Most doctors don't allow hormones on underage youth -- too bad you don't live in MN -- cause they are doing all the research and most doctors here begin hormone blockers at 10 and hormones around 14
