Lucky Peach

Hi all,

I've been on hormones for about a year now and am basically living full time at this point.

I know that I definitely want to find a surgeon for FFS. It's not for a passing thing mind you, it's because there are elements of my face that I am unhappy with. So, in shopping around for a surgeon I am looking for one who uses more of a light touch. In the end I still want to look like me as I'm actually starting to like the way I look, just with a few tweaks here and there.

I'm hoping to find a few recommendations for some surgeons and if possible some personal experiences as well.

Thanks!

From what I gather Dr Spiegel is a good choice for what you're looking for.

Yep. I went to him. The only real complaint from people he has worked on is "didn't go far enough." Which sounded great to me. I love the work he did on my face. Feel free to ask if you have any specific questions.

Thank you for the replies.
I was thinking that I want to stay in the states to have things done, but I'm trying to keep an open mind as well.
Besides, having options is never a bad thing.
I've got some research to do now!

Sarah7, do you mind if I send you a message to ask about your experience?

I'm doing the minimalist approach, too.  I went to see Dr. Toby Mayer out in Beverly Hills last week and had my Trachea shaved and will be returning to him soon for a Rhinoplasty after I sort out the financial part.

Sure go ahead.

Beware of "not getting enough done" too. Those people who feel not enough work was done are not happy about it. After all they spent lots of money!

Dr. Spiegel will do forehead setback if necessary so that's not minimalist. My impression during my consult with Dr. Leis is he believes in a minimalist approach.
