It would seem from what I've read that HRT will generally take care of most body hair eventually.  I know that the beard hairs must be tackled with laser (and lighter hairs with follow-up electrolysis).  Is there any reason to bother lasering more than the beard/neck?  I'm asking because a number of deals have come up lately (eg. WagJag) that will allow a certain limited number of areas as part of the price.  Not keen on the idea of dealing with multiple companies and technologies but it seems like a great way to save money.  I've already purchased one deal and am wondering if I should buy more rather than pay full price for additional areas from the same provider.

If you want. Lots of ciswomen get electrolysis for other areas, such as leg hairs.

I'm two years on hrt and I haven't noticed any change in the hairgrow on my arms and legs. I still have dark hairs there so I shave like a maniac. When I asked my endo he said that hrt will only slow down the hairgrow, which I don't notice at all. I hope that srs will help a bit..

I had some laser sessions on legs and arms before hrt but hrt didn't change a thing there. Knees and elbows are the worst because laser didn't have much effect there. The only hairs that I lost from hrt are some hairs on my belly and nipples. There must have been at least 10 I will soon start laser again on arms and legs. The diode laser is sooo time consuming for legs that I'm considering ipl.

I am currently getting it on my face, neck, chest, and abdomen. I plan to get my legs, arms, and under arms done. I hate body hsir on myself.

And I would also add that I hate all processes and procedures necessary to remove hair.

I plan to get full body hair removal. I do not have much body hair being Asian though, but I dislike shaving as it is time consuming and I always end up cutting myself and scaring from that.

  Thanks for the responses so far.  One additional question - For those of you with experience, has laser treatment resulted in any patchiness along the way?  Once on my face as an experiment I plucked out a small strip of hairs along the top of my beard line to see how my skin would respond during regrowth particularly in terms of ingrowns.  The odd edge in my shadow was somewhat visible for about 2.5 weeks until the hairs started showing again.  They eventually all came back but for a little while it was sparse.  This would concern me if I had to let all the hairs grow back between sessions and it looked all weird shaved or not.

  The look and feel of the cleared area was amazing while it lasted.  I especially appreciated the lack of shaving irritation as my skin is pretty sensitive.  Irritation and nicks would be enough incentive on their own to get as much laser coverage as possible.

If you mean if laser can result in weird hairgrow patterns then yes defenitely

I would do maybe half the recommended on both leg and arm.  It'll thin it out enough to not be a worry.  I plan on doing electrolysis on parts of my body that are hard to shave, my electrologist says generally hair really doesn't come back after a time or 2 on other parts of the body.

I never waxed my tummy or chest, my tummy hairs when they grow out are weak and fading, from up close it looksl ike alot but through a mirror its very faint.  My chest hairs on the upper left and fight side are basically gone, and all I have is a dark strip near the center which is getting lighter and lighter every time I shave it off.

Hair removal works best once you've been on HRT a year or so.  Testosterone is a hair factory and it seems once you get rid of one hair T replaces it with another. It's awful stuff!

I lost virtually all the hair on my legs once the T was gone.  Arm hair is definitely diminished but I still have to keep it trimmed.  But everyone is different.  You will only know after you've been on HRT for a while.  My electrologist recommended her clients be on HRT for a year before starting treatment.  When I compare hair production before and after T, I think she was right on.

Laser is not a permanent treatment.  You won't find any reputable laser technicians who will tell you it is.  That doesn't mean it doesn't kill the hair follicles.  It does, for some.  And again, that depends on the individual and even the hair follicle.  Medically, electrolysis is the only hair removal treatment that has been proven to be permanent.  FWIW.

Face and neck should be first priority - these are areas you cannot wax and HRT has no effect on hair present in these areas.

Other areas would be area around the nipples and parts of chest.

Rest of it can be waxed and with combination of HRT and waxing/epilating would reduce greatly over time.

Although its better to wait for HRT to have some affect on hair growth so that you could judge wether you need it or not.

My first priority was my chest. My breasts started developing so early, and I had such a hairy chest. I could not stand the thought of having hairy boobs!

I got rid of the dark hairs on my face, now left with white quills. Problem is that the hair/ hair follicle is in one of three stages in a 18 month to 24 month period. So if it is actively growing, you can pull it, or fry it. If it is in a rest stage, then you will can pull the hair but the root remains intact, and dormant stage,where there is no hair but the root will reactivate in its own time. You clear one cycle, and the next replaces it. So two years of electrolysis minimum assuming that you can clear all the hair at one sitting.

I have been doing my ever inch of my entire body because I hate body hair. I was a hairy boy. Hairy thick arms, and super hairy legs. I may have wasted money on it because many girls thats gone before me and been on HRT for many years say that body hair diminishes with time.

If I had a choose and go back and do it or not.. I'd still would of had it done. Just the simple fact of never having to shave again and worry about pesky razor rash as well as spikey hairs is great.

In a little less than a year (at about 1 hour a week) my face was almost clear.  Many many many patches of soft  skin.  Once the dark hairs are gone, things are almost un noticeable ^.^
