Cindy

Had a meeting with five male engineers whose boss is a total sexist toad. So I went in a tight pencil skirt, high heel boots and cute top and nice make up. Since my boots had about three inch heels I towered above the toad and his eye level was at my boobs, he was squirming the whole time.

I felt very empowered

You naughty, naughty girl Cindy. Bend over and cop a spanking right now.

Had an interesting time talking to my Gender Studies lecturer about Intersex, and gave her a flyer for a frend's new documentary to be shown locally next month.  "Intersexion" by Mani Bruce Mitchell, a dear friend even if she is a Kiwi.  Well worth a look when it passes your way.

Karen.

8 hours of train journey, one hour of Doctor Who watching, 5 hours of being relentlessly awake, now it's 3 am again. Sigh. Time to eat some prawn crackers and try to sleep.

Realised and accepted that I do still love an old exGF.. In fact, I never really stopped loving her - just accepted that we were never going to be together after I walked away due to trans issues. Well, they are dealt with and she's wandered back in to my life..

Is this a 2nd chance to get it right?

Well 'today' has actually only been 40minutes long for me >.< but I got up 10 minutes early so I could make my breakfast in that time and have a full half hour in my bed to eat it. It's worked a treat its so much better then rushing. Now if only I could just go back to snoozy-land *sigh*

Managed to pull of a job interview so perfect that my colleagues were doubting I was the same person they deal with every day. So I keep my job for another whole year, although dressing manly did not feel very good this time (and I used to love how I felt with an oxford shirt and my Massimo Duty Blazer I keep for special occasions).

It is strange, some times it feels as if a different person was talking using my mouth, speaking directly from the heart and bypassing all that barrier of self hate that makes me look like a hideous person. I wonder if transition would allow that chained personality to come out.

Next day: Traumatologist appointment. Hip is OK and leg lenght too, but I seem to have a functional short leg. Physiotherapy, special exercising and postural hygiene to recover it and get the hips and pelvis back to a neutral position. For the last 5 years I have not used my left leg a lot and I could have caused the muscle to contract and shorten. Also, slight scoliosis on the upper part of the back that I should counter with swimming or Pilates. Swimming could be tricky in a future.

Cleared enough space in my workshop (with caution, so as not to be bit by any scorpions, black widows, rats, or snakes...) to sort through my pile of black walnut; with which I will now trim out a new window in my never-ending bathroom remodel (after extensive milling, etc...)...
I ain't scared... I just don't want to mess up my hair.

Omfg i had a root canal and I'm still shaking. I don't think I've ever been more scared. My roommate cheered me up a little with the Cosby bit about the dentist.

*sobs* My baby! I'm so proud! *sobs*

*ahem*

I mean, you've got to play it for me when it's done. Maybe even make a vid and upload it to YouTube.

I'm back to the gym after a two weeks leave. I don't want to put a lot of effort until I get a full check of hips, spine and shoulder blades, but I can start getting back to cardio until I start the rehab with my physiotherapist.

I worked on school stuff all day.  I also roleplayed on Elysium all day.  I really need help since one of the things I look forward to the most is roleplaying. >.>  But if people had to deal with what I had to deal with last week, then they'd be in the same boat, lol.

I've been complaining about obnoxious loud roosters crowing all the time - well, today I cooked them.

:icon_evil_laugh:

My aunt and uncle had chickens and once a year all those extra do-nothing roosters would get whacked and eventually wind up in the pot. I was little and seeing chickens flapping around without their heads freaked me out!

One time when we were visiting my grandparents, my granddad took me out to fetch a couple of chickens for dinner  ::)  I thought we were going to the store

So when he grabbed them up and put them on the chopping block (tree stump) and swacked their heads off with an ax then said...
"See that? That's reality" it kinda freaked me out  :o  But I got over it after awhile after witnessing various things that freaked me out even more
