What do guys do if they have nobody to help them with top surgery? I understand for the first day or so you have very limited use of your hands. This is awfully personal for anything but a close family member. But not everyone has one of those. This is the case for me, I mean I have a sister who will definitely not be happy about this whole thing when I tell her.

wheat thins are delicious

You could post around a few months in advance looking for a person in the area who would be willing to help you for a fee.

Well that did occur to me, we have a trans center here so I could put out an ad. I am just thinking about it right now. Wonder if other people have been in the same situation.

You can also hire a nurse from one of many agencies to stay with you for a portion of your recover(at least until you have your drains removed).

it definetly helps to have someone. i put most everything i needed at waist level before hand, so i could've managed without my parents. my biggest problem was light switches and light chains hanging from fans. cant do much about those

my Gender Therapist was Dr. Laura Caghan in Los Alamitos, CA. She is AMAZING.

I would turn on and off the lights with my forehead for a couple days :p so that's doable on your own too, you learn alternate ways of doing things really fast.
