Hi! You can call my Hazel. I'm nineteen and a secondary social science in education major. That's just acadamia for learning how to be a high school history teacher. I want to become a librarian, so hopefully one day, I will get a masters. I live in Kansas, though would like to move to the Northwest. I play french horn and mellophone in the college marching band, basketball band, and concert band and love to read.

I have been researching Androgyne things for the past...three weeks or so? (time flies). I've felt like I've never fit in with women or men. Both confuse me, although I do have friends who are...not very girly or mannish, so that works in my favor! :) As I am born female, I've been okay with being referred to as a girl, but recently, people have been telling me that I've "grown into a fine young lady" or "you're a beautiful young woman" and it just doesn't feel nice.

So, I'll just leave off there for now! Nice to meet you all!
With a laptop, my mounds of books, and history handouts, I could rule the world! Or, just think about my self-identity and help the world through being kind and teaching.

Hi Hazel, :icon_wave:

Welcome to our little family. Over 8482 strong. That would be one heck of a family reunion.

Feel free to post your successes/failures, Hopes/dreams.  Ask questions and seek answers. Give and receive advice.

But remember we are family here, your family now. And it is always nice to have another Andro.

And be sure to check out these links ( MUST READS )

Hey there, Hazel.  Nice to meet you.

I one one of several of the moderators who identify as androgenous, or non-binary.  Personally I identify as bi-gendered, and use the general term, androgyne.

On this site the Androgeny forum acts as a meeting place for many of our non-binaries.  You will likely find some fascinating discussion.  Join in!

Hello and welcome from the depths of the Tasmanian wilderness. Actually Hobart, which is a nice city.

I have recently started to leave the Gender Binary and headed off into parts unknown myself.  It looks like there are more of us out here than we have been led to believe.  It has been an interesting trip so far.
