So I was in class today and the guy I've had classes with before top surgery called me she to the professor and it was in front of some of my classmates. I pass in all of my other classes and off campus. He is a pretty cool guy but I wanted to correct him and didn't because it would've been awkward . Should I tell him about me or what should I do?

This is an awkward situation but you probably don't want him to do it again... and if you say nothing, he'll learn nothing.

If he really is a cool guy, the first step is to take him to one side and tell him in a friendly manner that you're a guy now and you want him to call you by the correct name and pronouns. Then take it from there based on his response.

We have emailed back and forth about class and sports. Would it be better to just shoot him an email? I guess I just don't really know what to say or how to go about it.

I found out after I posted this that he isn't going to be in class for the next two weeks so maybe I should just send him an email.

If he isn't going to be in class for a few weeks, I'd just forget it and let it blow over. Only mention it if it happens again. I think an email would seem like you're making a big deal out of it.

This. I wouldn't even make a big deal out of it unless it was someone I knew personally and was friends with.

No, no, no, no, no! I'm not going to tell you how to live your life but I personally would have corrected him and put him in his place! (Not physically of course...verbally!) >:-)
