I'M back with my lover again. I know he's a liar, a cheat and a bully, but I'm trying to learn how to trust him again.


I'm 25 and he's 28. I met him on a dating site and he knew from the start that I'm a male to female pre-op transsexual. He said he was single with no family.

Our relationship soon became physical and I knew I was falling in love. Three months later he said he was going away with his 'daughter'. No explanation, no apology, nothing.

He then began hiding his phone and leaving the room when it rang. He had his 'daughter' to stay at weekends. He switched off his mobile and didn't call me. I searched on the site where we met and saw that his profile was back. His comment was, "Love hurts!"

Omg...trapped? How sad that this woman can't respect herself enough to take care of herself. I know that it is hard, but from what she wrote it is a no-brainer what she should do, and it is so frustrating that we allow ourselves to be handled with such violence and cruelty. I will pray for her, and hope she comes to her senses...x

Don't hold your breath waiting for her.  And statistically her next relationship will more than likely also be with a liar, a cheat and a bully.  That's the real tragedy of it.

I think its important to look at the source of this sort of intentional sabotage...maybe if we treat the root of self worth, things like this would correct in the process. What you say is unfortunate and true.

You can help people who are unable to help themselves, but you can't help anyone who is unwilling to help themselves.
