Hello, i'm new here... so I guess this is the place to start! :)

I'm signed up to a few forums, but have never been signed up to one like this until tonight, so i'm looking around to see just how friendly they all are (i'm sure they all are, but you can never be too careful! :D).

The quick background summary is that I am a male, 19 from UK, but i've always felt as though I am the wrong gender. I don't really open up about my personal life but on Thursday I plan to tell my therapist, who I am sure in turn will recommend me to more professionals who will be able to help diagnose just what the hell I am! :D. It's all very worrying, but it's best to know for sure. The reason i've kept it to myself for so long is... well I don't know. I guess I feel embarrassed which seems perfectly normal. I'm sure these forums will be as supportive as possible though, and I look forward to connecting with you all :).

Anyway, I hope to have a fun time on the boards :).

The main things to remember in life are Love, Kindness, Understanding and Respect - Always make forward progress

Superficial fanny kissing friends are a dime a dozen, a TRUE FRIEND however is PRICELESS

Hi Kompany, :icon_wave:

Welcome to our little family. Over 8603 strong. That would be one heck of a family reunion.

Feel free to post your successes/failures, Hopes/dreams.  Ask questions and seek answers. Give and receive advice.

But remember we are family here, your family now. And it is always nice to have another sister.

It does not take courage or bravery to change your gender.  It takes fear of living one more day in the wrong one.~me

@VM - Wow, that's a lot of rules. I'll make sure I play nice :)

@Padma - Wooo! Hope there are more of us on the boards :)

Yeah, there's a small but healthy Brit contingent here, from all corners of the unicorn forest :). Which bit of the country are you in? Devon here.
