I frequently wonder which articles pertaining to health pertain to me? I see articles about men's health and women's health. Which should I pay attention to? Both?

I'm pre-op, so I still have all my male parts. But, I'm on a testosterone blocker, estrogen and progesterone. So, I have female hormones in my system. Obviously, I don't have to worry about uterine, cervical, or ovarian cancers and the like. But are there other female health issues I should be aware of? Osteoporosis is one, I think. And males and females can get breast cancer.

But some of these dietary and vitamin articles are odd ones. To me, at least.

What harm does it do to read both type articles?  Especially when we are on hormones.

True. I just wonder about the vitamin and diet ones. Should I take both sides' advice?

I read articles directed at both men and women. If it doesn't pertain to me, at least I have the information in case a friend of family member needs it.

Specifically, anything pertaining to the prostate is something I want to know about. I also want to know about anything pertaining to the male genitalia I still have.  Breast cancer, fitness, nutrition, and other general health issues for women are ones I pay close attention to for me.

That's a good point. I hadn't thought of that.

There may still be valuable information for ether group (FtM/MtF).  Our body still have some aspects of our former genetic makeup.

It does not take courage or bravery to change your gender.  It takes fear of living one more day in the wrong one.~me
