My guess is that your pastor made the comment automatically, and not meaning it in a bad way. I do think it could be a good "teaching moment" to discuss your feelings about this with her sometime.

Honestly,  baptizing unsuspecting babies is weird. At the very least you should wait till they're 18 so they can tell you if they want to join that particular cult (branch of religion)

You do know every single Christian denomination but the Anabaptist tradition baptizes children don't you??
