So. I'm making a comic about based of me.  Not totally like me, but kinda close. It starts with him questioning his gender identity and how he evolve and all kind of things that I'm not sure of yet. It's not only going to be transrelated, because I think it would make it more interesting if he also kind of had a life besides his gender.

What I wanted help with was a name for it. I was going to buy a domain name, but because I have no idea of what name I should go with I really can't buy one. So if you had a good or deep name for the comic I would gladly hear it (feel free to pm me if you want to know more about the story in order to come up with that.)

Here is what it looks like:

(If you can't read http://thesparrowhawke.deviantart.com/#/d5iul6j)

I know this doesn't have much to do with trans* stuff, but I do have to ask if my art is good enough for a comic?

update: I'm finally done . www.tscomic.com. I was too lazy with the theme. I admit that.

I can't think of a name for it, but "angles" should be "angels" - so maybe "Angles/Angels" would make a good name (it sort of works) :).

Oh no. I failed at spelling! Can't really change it now because that's my handwriting...  I find the name gender (or trans) angels a kinda nice name, but I think it might come of as too Christian.

well if its slide of life, you could get it a rather casual name I think.

give the main character a name, ex. Charlie, and call it "charlies days" "everyday and charlie" something like that.
you could also try to look what in your comic you draw specially attention too you could include in the name.

For drawing I think its good enough for a webcomic but I would sugest you make at least the text on computer in photohop or something with a couple of layers. then it also gets more easy if you make a mistake because you just can try again. remember to save the original.

I was thinking about making a story based on me before this, but I didn't like the art style (too realistic). It was called; a story of a Sparrowhawke. I kinda liked the way it played with the word sparrowhake, because it's the name of a bird and the surname of the main character. Now I don't really want this guy to be me (even thought he is based on me.) Could I just call it: A story of a [name]. The web comic called El Goonish Shive have nothing to do with the actual comic other that the author's surname being Shive. So maybe I should just call it 'Sparows and hawkes'  :D

I often get a local free paper. I think the comics in these are similar in terms of art. Also would work as a web comic.

I agree with a more regular name. I think Angel (even though it is a fairly common Latino name) is not real common a male name.

The art is fine. Agree with a simple name so more people identify with it. Might be funny if it's one of the popular FTM names.

Love the idea...the more trans, the better. The obsessions we tend to have about ordinary things nobody else notices could provide a wealth of comic material. Good luck.

I think it would be a good comic. I would definitely read. To be honest, I think that coloring things in makes them more appealing visually than spending like 5 hours on each frame. I can tell you that I have found that on art websites, people more often comment on and favorite colored in art than black and white, even if the uncolored stuff is more intricately detailed.

I agree with the idea that using the word angels may give people a misconception about religion being involved somehow so I wouldn't use that in the title I don't think.

Thanks for the feedback guys!
I'm thinking about calling it T because a lot of stuff in the trans* community is called something with t. I wanted my website to be called T.com, but some letter loving people reserved that (seriously they called themselves something like: the letter organisation). I think I will go with Tcomic.com instead then (the comic will still be called T. It's just the URL that's called tcomic).
What do you people think about the name?

I think that's not bad. Alternatively, you could twist it into something like "tee" with a logo with some sort of particularly relevant tee-shirt, or "thee" to go with a sort of theme that "it's always you" or something, or just a logo.

I don't dislike "T" either, but for some reason, despite my nickname, for some reason just the T, one letter, doesn't sound/look the best to me. I can't really explain it.

But make sure to link us once you decide! I'm definitely interested.

Well called it T's instead because I couldn't call it tcomic. I think it might sound better too. I just wanted a simple name, but it had to have something to do with trans. So T's (or just T) it is. Can't really change it to something totally different because I already bought the name tscomic.com.
With A's comment I will properly call it T's instead of T.
I will post when I'm done with the site.

Just avoid Comic Sans (even though it's a comic) in the future, but I'm looking forward to it. ^.^

Ok looking very good. I think you touched it up nicely or whatever. It really pops visually.
