Whether you vote Dem, Green, Libertarian, GOP or whatever, Vote!

The next president might get to nominate two or more Supreme Court justices. This could personally impact your life as a TG individual.

True. It could, as well, accelerate the erosion of your civil liberties too.

  Voted last week with the mail in ballot.  The door to door stumpers with their voter lists bypassed me today.  Evidently, the election board has received my ballot.  I am wearing an "I Voted" sticker I got from the dropoff location volunteers.

I don't even register. Which is why I don't comment in the political threads.

Surprising results in Senate races. Warren beat Brown and R's lost their Senate seat in Indiana thanks to Tea Party candidate. Akin out in Missouri.

  Colorado for Romney, no change in the CO contigent for US House and Senate.  State House and Senate have Dem incumbents winning and a good part of the GOP incumbents losing.  A turnaround in Ohio will not help Romney enough.

  Colorado marijuana legalization and regulation passes even though the vast majority of the state candidates for office advised against amendment 64.  An official to the US justice branch just warned that Federal enforcement of marijuana laws will still be enforced.

I'm disappointed, but I will congratulate Obama.

That is America, we accept the will of the majority and move on.
Nameless here for evermore!;  Merely this, and nothing more;
Tis the wind and nothing more!;  Quoth the Raven, "Nevermore!!"
