Ok, so genetics have cursed me with a long long wait for facial hair, my dad has a thick normal beard, my brothers are 23-25 and practically baby faced.

I know biotin works awesome on my boyfriends pre existing beard, makes it grow faster, but does biotin cause more facial hair to develop?  Will it make faint hairs darker?

I've heard biotin can have an effect on overall hair growth, but mostly what I've heard is anywhere you already have hair it will help, so it most likely won't make facial hair come in if it's not already. I should give it a whirl myself though. I have a slight amount of facial hair but not enough for anyone to really notice.

I've also heard increasing protein in the diet can help with hair growth.

I think Biotin occurs naturally in milk, egg yolk and meat.

biotin increases growth speed and health of hair but wont cause you to sprout new hairs. if you really want facial hair look into rogaine applied to the face im not saying you should do it but its something to read about.
