Ok this may be a touchy subject for some but I just need some answers on this. You see even though i feel like I should be living as female (most of the time) I still like the feeling of sexual release and fantasy and well you know what happens "down there". Does the fact that I enjoy this take away from anything? I mean I know that once I take AA that will probably go away right? Or does it go away or does it just change the way it feels and you can no longer release?

Personally I think that it depends on your own perspective. Do you enjoy it? (I think we know the answer to that. lol) and will you miss it should you fully change? I have heard both sides of this argument and it truly depends on you. I have heard several MTF ladies say that they either hate or hated that part of themselves and couldnt wait to get rid of it, not wanting anything to do with pleasure so long as it stayed that way. On the other hand I personally do not hate it (I pity it for what Im going to do to it) but I see no reason to deny yourself pleasure if you truly enjoy it. I am secure in the fact that I am a female and will do everything that I can to change my body into that of a female's, but I dont deny my current male parts pleasure simply because I want to get rid of it. I acknowledge that one day it will be gone and the pleasure that I recieve from sex or masturbation will be different. I accept and welcome it. The biggest thing to remember is that sexual release is good for the body (not to often as that may cause problems), but denying yourself will build undue stress and cause problems for you later.

In short, do what makes you happy, just be sure about your feelings and know what you want and how things will change. Be sure that its what you want but above all just be happy. ;)

well my question then would be, what is the feeling like after you have had srs, I assume it varies then. What about pre-op feelings, do you still have sexual thoughts and feelings anymore at a certain stage of hormones?

Hi Shawn,

What you really have to consider in this equation is what psychological changes will occur to you, due to HRT?

Certainly AA's may change your current physical and emotional sensations, but HRT can have some dramatic feminising effects you never considered before. These psychological changes can radically alter your current perspective on many things, to the extent, you may not recognise your previous self.

And yes, both pre-op and from what I've heard from post-ops, you do have sexual thoughts AND feelings during these stages. Hormones will not stop sexual emotions, however they may radically change them.

Be safe, well and happy.

Lotsa huggs
Catherine

Personally, the only reason I do it is to keep it all working until I get SRS... now I can hardly tell if I have an orgasm anymore, which kind of sucks :(

But then again, as a girl I can always fake it :D
To dream of the person you would like to be is to waste the person you are.

Guys can always tell, it's just that when you find a girl like that you've already won the bonus round of not having to care.
FIGHT APATHY!, or don't...

They can have the bonus round as long as they take out the trash.  :icon_boxing:

It is a perfectly normal, human reaction.  Do not get upset about it.

In my own case, I feel no desire at all to do anything sexual. The need to do anything 'down there' simply no longer exists. Other people have a different reaction but I can only speak for myself.

Here's this neat link about how women and men experience orgasms, and although the pathways to arousal are different, It seems that brain-wise it's the same thing for a male and a female.

http://io9.com/5957691/do-men-and-women-experience-orgasms-differently

there are some transgendered females that hate their genitals and can only be happy after SRS.

Mayhaps you're like me, one of those who can handle their birth genitals and still be happy.

Just don't let anyone convince you you're not truly trans or female because of this though.
