Hi Everyone.
I've been reading on this website for a while and recently have been getting stronger feelings about who I really am/more confused about my gender. I thought I should post and get to know people and try and figure out what i want/need to do.

I'm 29 and have cross-dressed since I can remember but have never told anyone - I suspect that my mum knew when I used to try on her clothes but she never said anything to me and probably thought it was just a phase. I can't stop thinking about living life as a woman. I've not been able to work for days.

Is anyone else in the north west UK (Liverpool) and do they know any good groups to join to get more info?

I think just typing this out has helped. And reading everyones posts has helped too - to know that there are others like me.

Thankyou. x

Hi Poppy, and welcome - I'm in Devon, but there are plenty of northerners around here too :). Good luck with figuring it all out.

Hi Poppy, :icon_wave:

Welcome to our little family. Over 8953 strong. That would be one heck of a family reunion.

Feel free to post your successes/failures, Hopes/dreams.  Ask questions and seek answers. Give and receive advice.

But remember we are family here, your family now. And it is always nice to have another member.

And be sure to check out these links ( MUST READS )

It does not take courage or bravery to change your gender.  It takes fear of living one more day in the wrong one.~me

Hi Devlyn,
Thanks for your message!  I'm a tea lover too. I'd fit in well in Boston.

Oh dear, another Liverpudlian.

I was born and lived in West Derby, right next to Alder Hey Hospital. I escaped. Don't tell anyone.

Hi Cindy.
Thanks for replying to my intro.
I've only lived here for a few years, i'm from the south originally. I took me a while to get used to the accent but i love it now!

I emigrated to Australia to have SRS in 1976. I've lost a few things but not my accent. I worked in the Jolly Miller for a few years. Don't now if it exists any more. I went to St Edward's College, they didn't know at the time that it was co-ed. I was the first girl there but they couldn't  understand .

I use to go to the Queens Head on  something road, for a lager at night.

Geex honey you are bringing back old memories. It was a dual carriage way. We used to walk there, it had a steak house.

Hi Cindy, hope the memories of Liverpool are good.
I've seen the Jolly Miller, it's near Queen's Drive, but i don't think i've ever been in.
I live in south liverpool near St Michaels so tend to hang around there. Did you ever go to Lark Lane? It's meant to be the 'bohemian' part of liverpool.

Queen's Drive that's the road.

Honey when I left Liverpool it was just a violent ghetto.

Not much has changed then!
Well some bits aren't very nice but i think in general its got a lot better recently. It was even a European capital of culture back in 2008.

I'd rather be in Australia though.  :D

After my first 12 months in OZ I was home sick and went back to the Pool to see my family. I regretted going back as soon as the plane landed. Sure cured my homesickness ::)
