hi my names natalie and im a mtf transgender in my mid twenties. im not on hrt yet but i will be sometime in the near future. untill then i just work on my voice do some thinking and figuring out and workout and make small steps. i just want ya to know that are going to or are or already have transitioned that ya really have my respect. you see the other day a tg friend of mine told me most of the risks of hrt and surgery..and the benefits. it was alot to take in. but i kept talking with her and another good friend of mine and i became more informed on how to do it the safest way. i may not do a surgery tho. so ever since then ive felt closer with those 2 good tg friends of mine. and i think more highly of transgenders than anyone else. ya are brave and strong. i wish for ya to have long healthy lives. -hugs-

You sound like sombody i know.
Another thing I have discovered about transgender people is that they tend to be a little more health conscious. Since most of us take hormones or want to start taking them we have to focus on our health and make sure were up to it and they're going to work good for us. I think we focus a little bit more on appearance to. I've seen a lot of 50-year-old transgendered men that look a lot better than 50-year-old Cis woman.

Hopefull

It seems because people know how other trans feel they are more supportive. I support almost anything if it means that much to someone.  ^-^
I don't know many people though( I need to get out more often).
I hope you are happy Natalie!

I do respect those that transition. Either way a person is going gender wise in transition, ftm I have thought about that the path to transition must be difficult having breasts and being androgen or dressing as male, trying to hide them. Having a mastectomy must a total relief on the road to being male. Mtf can hide their penis. I am not saying one side has it easier than the other. Either gender transition I believe you are the bravest and courageous people in the world.

Natalie, all the best on your transition.
