Shellie Ruge from Peoria, Arizona, had been married to Randi for seven years, when he suddenly broke the news that he was unhappy as a man, and wanted to change sex.
At first Shellie said that all 'I could really do was cry', but after learning about the topic she decided to make the relationship work, and now, more than seven years on, she describes that 'there are so many things that I love about Randi the woman'.
