OK Janet (Cute name BTW), no fair claiming your sister's voice as your. Actually it sound female.  Maybe just need a little more inflection and you are there.

Sounds very good.  One thing I found is that is ones smiles when talking in come across a lot better.  You sound tired, Hon.

Awesome. I did get up about 1 1/2 hour ago so maybe it is why. I can't wait for my voice to just naturally come and not have to worry anymore.

I closed my eye and yes Alice, that sounds female. It will take a while before this becomes natural but it will.

Sounds like you have a little chest reverb, but otherwise it sounds good.

It's not bad but as you said it still needs some work. It's too sharp edged still. It's still got the staccato sound to it. Needs to be softened/more breathy. especially consonants like the P sound. Try to make the P float out of your mouth like a bubble   Another tough one is saying "ah ha" with the start of the "ha" soft/breathy. I bet I said that phrase a thousand times. Also sounds too chesty and not head voice still. Swallow, feel the adams apple up high and then say a few words holding it there. you should feel a "buzz" in your head when you do.  The range is good and sounds natural. Not falsetto sounding at all.

That said, it wouldn't shock me to hear that voice if I saw you in person (and wouldn't make me question your gender) but I might think high pitched guy on the phone.

I think Paige's voice passes, especially if I was looking at her while she was speaking. Even slight variations in the tone can be overcome with speech patterns. Many ftms with deep voices that still have feminine speech patterns can give themselves away if it's coupled with a non-passing/andro appearance.

This is sounding pretty good! It's a touch "staccato" still, work of softer "edges" to each syllable. More breathy to smooth them out? Clearly you don't want too much breathyness, a little goes a long way.

Thanks for the feedback and tips! I appreciate the honesty. I have been told it sounds okay face-to-face, but the phone and drive-thru speakers are my nemeses

You know you got it when you get ma'amed at the drive thru and on the phone.

I could use some help! I'm very early on in my voice training. I've been following the advice from Kathe Perez's CDs, as well as the hodgepodge of tips I've picked up online (head voice, mixed breathiness, raising the larynx, smiling a little, standing on one leg...) This has taken me to a point where I think I've made progress, but the male voice is still somehow coming through, and I'm not sure how to banish it.

That's not bad, it does sound a bit too high a pitch/strained. Also a few times you would dip into the male range, which is hard not to do. Maybe try a slightly lower pitch?
