Dr. Z. does great work, but though this might happen with anyone, he's the only one I know have a patient died as reported in topic 113846.

I met and had  consults with Dr O, Z and S.    I chose Dr Z because he was a straight talker and did exactly what I wanted.  He had his recommendations, some I took and some I didn't    This is a very personal decision and you have to own it.  Do your homework and make your own decision. Don't second guess yourself.  Every person and every face is different.  A few years on I am very happy with the result.  Looking back I probably could have had less work and had less discomfort and adjustment to make but it works for me.  I suspect that I would probably have been equally pleased if I had chosen Dr Z or Dr O

I guess I'm the only one who wnt to Spiegel. I love my face, he does great work though he is expensive!

I chose Spiegel too.

The advice from a previous poster is really about the best advice you can get. Do your homework, research, and pick the surgeon that fits with you.

This isn't a car you're buying where you can go find empirical research and statistics and find "the best". It's not a computer where you can pull up spec sheets and benchmarks for all the latest software. This is an inexact medical science with more variables than a quantum inversion loop (just made that up).

I chose Spiegel because after narrowing my options down to Z, O, or S, taking serious stock of all 3, examining their websites, talking to them, and talking to people that had first hand experience with them, and more... It all came down to I just liked Spiegel better. I felt like he would do a better job, *for me*, for what *my* goals are.

Ultiamtely that's how your decisions must be made. What surgeon do you think is going to be right, for *you*.

I went to Dr Lincenburg at http://www.gaplasticsurg.com/  Very trans friendly and did my nose with all hospital fees for about 1/2 of what I see others posting just for the doctor fees. I am SUPER happy with the results, he really did a great job of "balancing" it to my face and it gave me a much more female look. He does other FFS work, BA etc too.
