Well this is my re introduction..

I took a few months to think about things. If I really wanted to go through with this and I came to the conclusion that I do! I tried living in "boy mode" but I felt out of place and not being who I really want to become, which is Grace. Grace would of been the name my parents would have named me if I was born a girl. I really love the name and I think it would be nice to i guess honor that name. I went through all the pros and cons, there were more pros than cons. I hinted towards my mom a couple times but I really don't know what her overall thought is, because it's up and down. So I guess the next step is talking to my family and friends. Then when I have money see a therapist? Walking into a women's clothing store is like a kid walking into a candy shop. I'm really tempted to try things on but I'm afraid people would think that's weird and call security.. so I'm back and can't wait to talk to you all.

It does not take courage or bravery to change your gender.  It takes fear of living one more day in the wrong one.~me

Hi Grace,

A big Aussie welcome to Susan's family. It's good of you to drop in and say "Hi". Hope you like it here, and you stay for a while.

There is a mountain of information, resources and friendship waiting for you here, you just need to jump in start talking and ask any question you like. You're quite safe here and we are very accepting.

In answer to your question about post count, yes you are beyond the magic number.

Just before you talk to your family and friends abut your feelings, make sure you have some printed information about the medically recognised condition called Gender Identity Disorder GID. At least that way you won't get tongue tied when they start questioning you or worse case, deny what you are trying to tell them.

Looking forward to hearing more of your story in time to come, but in the meantime, be safe, well and happy.

Lotsa huggs
Catherine
