I used to travel a lot for work and still do for vacation. My favorite by far is Cambodia, I love the country and the people. Well unless its a romantic getaway then I'm a typical Paris lover for that.

Hard to say but I did love both the island of Rodos (Rhodes), Greece and Palma de Mallorca, Spain.  If push came to shove though, I think my favorite destination was actually here in the U. S.  That city where "little cable cars reach halfway to the stars..", where you can get the best sourdough bread in the world and wonderful seafood.  We even drove down Lombard which was a problem because I was the only one in the car that was sober and I WASN'T driving.  LOL

I think there are three that tie for me.  The Chisos Mountain Basin in Bend National Park (West Texas), Lake Malawi (one of the unknown tropical paridises on the African Continent), and Nassau, Bahamas.

I went to Turkey, which although not beautiful is very interesting, I went to the ruined city of Ephesus - very interesting place, home to heraclitus and herostratus, two very interesting chaps in there own ways. Also what is interesting is that it used to be a seaside town and is now miles from the sea, was the site of one of (indeed highly regarded as the most impressive) wonders of the world, visited by saint paul if that's yer bag. And there was a secret tunnel running from the big library to the brothel...

I'm bumming around Spain and Morocco for the whole of August, see interesting stuff and go to some music and tomato-chucking festivals, but no bulls - too cruel.

I'd most love to go to the city of Petra in Jordan, or the landscapes I imagine sometimes.
P.S.. I said interesting far to often...need more synonyms. :icon_cute:

Bora Bora is just simply the most beautiful place in the world. I thought Hawaii's waters were clear. I love Tahiti, such a beautiful place :) Meghan

Stresa, Italy, near Lake Maggiore. There is a large stained glass window in the old chapel there that is pure blue, (in a small dark room) and as you stare at it, you literally become in touch with the Spirit of God. Many go each day, and may be seen weeping on the way out. I have never seen anything so wonderful. Better than the eyes of a child, even.

The best holiday I have had is in Berlin.  As a city I think it's beautiful (especially given the history it has had to get past).  I also Iove a certain beach near Alicante believe it or not, also La managa has some awesome fews in the south of Spain.  Untouched Croatia I hope stays just as it is, just so lovely, has everything, sun, sea, sand, and mountains. But the best view I have ever had the pleasure of seeing is at the top of Snowdon, it is simply breathtaking.
