How can I downlaod the liveleak vids to my laptop so I can burn some of this stuff onto a dvd? I would like to send it to a few senators  ;)

Actually, it looks like they just added a "Download Video" link at the top of each video.

It's quite easy, if you are using IE [I normally use Firefox].

I downloaded and saved an entire autopsy process and numerous aviation videos, this way.

--You will probably need to change your 'Explorer' settings to 'view hidden files'.

--Empty the Internet cache.

--View the video in it's entirety.

--Using 'Explorer', go to the "Temporary Internet Files" sub-directory in your "Documents and Settings" folder.

--Open each sub-directory until you can find what appears to be the file [this is generally easy to spot].

--Re-name the file. It will, as downloaded, have a non-standard extention which renders it uninterpretable by Windows Media Player, but you can rename the file and simply terminate the name with a ".WMF" extension.

Recruiters tell new recruits how to beat drug tests.

The Video: How pitiful. But hardly a surprise.

Recruiter:

"But once that you've cleared MEPS, do resume taking those illegal drugs. Believe me, when you are in Iraq, you will need them."

By the way, girl: I had heard a while back that the Army had ceased from administering the infamous "Random Drug Screen" in Iraq, for precisely this reason.

It's nothing new to this administration nor to this war. I had friends in and out of the military see this sort of thing go on. A family member lied on an application to join the Army, at the urging of the recruiter and that was decades ago.

The military always makes its rules adapt to the needs of the moment.

When I was drafted I had qualified as a concentious objector (forgive the spelling, I don't feel like looking in the dictonary right now).  I also originally had been disqualified because my eyes were too bad, and major ear problems.  Guess what, the lost the paper work on objector, and changed the rules about how bad your eyes and other health problems were.  (I had to have special glasses for my gas mask).

But being smart, I knew how to beat their placement tests and became a company clerk.  I got orders for Vietnam on three different occasions, but as a clerk, knew how to get out of them each time.  I turned down officers training several times because that meant immediate transfer to Vietnam.

Well they have to change the rules, otherwise they would have to start *gasp* letting the lbgt community into the military. Why, its a darn shame there just arn't enough gang members and 40+ year olds who want to join. Why, we can't get rid of them fast enough from the military as it is.  >:(

Last I heard there was what, 10,000 people who would join tomarrow if only they could be open about who they are? I'd be one of them.

As for drugs? That was the least of what the recruiters will coach you about on how to get in.
