Potty policies on city committee agenda

http://www.thespec.com/news/local/article/841920--potty-policies-on-city-committee-agenda

An Ancaster man wants the city to reassess its public restroom policies.

Jim Enos, president of the Hamilton-Wentworth Family Action Council, is appearing before a city committee next month to ask that city-owned and operated washrooms and change facilities remain strictly separated by biological sex.

The "proactive" request, he said, was motivated by a set of guidelines recently adopted by a Toronto school board giving students the right to use a washroom that best aligns with their gender, regardless of their sex.

"I found it rather shocking," he said of the board's decision. "I don't see how opening washrooms and change rooms and shower rooms for people of the opposite gender makes it any safer for them."

"It actually just makes it more dangerous and more uncomfortable ... for everybody else," he added.

Yes, people not like ones' self should only get rights so long as everyone else is comfortable. (that's sarcasm)

He is the type to want to have restrooms, restaurants, drinking fountains and mass transit segregated by race too.

It does not take courage or bravery to change your gender.  It takes fear of living one more day in the wrong one.~me

Oh that hate and vitriol in the comments. Makes me wish this were possible.
