So I'm planning on ordering a new tri-top in the next couple of days. The one I currently have is white and over a year old but has held up pretty well considering its frequent use.

I'd like to order a black one this time but I've read things in the past where people say the black binders don't seem to bind as well as the white. But I've also heard people say the same about the white.

So....since I'm pretty paranoid in general about the appearance of my chest, just thought I'd see if you guys have any input before I place my order. Thanks!

I have a black double front and that binds me great, but I can't compare that to my white tritop because I got that second hand and that was a little bit stretched out to start with -- I assume, it was a year old and is meant to fit people smaller than my double front is meant to and it's looser.

I think I've also heard that black is tighter as well though.

I have both -- black and white -- I have 12 binders so mine hold up well --- my experience is that the black binder hold tighter and are a bit thicker.

Thanks a lot for the replies! I'm going to go ahead and order a black one this weekend.

BTW, ever think about how bizarre this all is? Can you image getting socks and grey would be bigger than brown?
