So, I had a test run yesterday ... my damn uterus still has a normal linning and my ovaries are still producing.  I have been on depo provera for over a year and half and T for almost a year.  Why does this crap have to happen to me.  No wonder my changes have been minimal -- estrogen and testorone are still fighting.  My follow up apt on what the next steps isn't until Dec. 18th so Ihave to sit and wait.  I am so freakin annoyed

That sucks! I hope they get it figured out soon.

This is what I'm getting, and it's stopped my ovaries from working. I don't know if there is medicine available with that substance in it in the US, but maybe that might work? I take a shot into fatty tissue once a month and it stopped the bleeding after just one month.

The depo provera should have stopped it after six months -- add T to the mix and I shouldn't have any ovaries working or a uterus lining -- I am completely out there from my doctors experience - she has never had this happen to her before.  Hopefully, it is a medical necessity to remove my junk for the insurance to pay for it.  Guess I will find out the next steps at my apt.

People can react differently to different medicines. Triptorelin is apparently given to children who enter puberty too early and will return anyone's hormonal system to childhood levels (i.e both FTMs and MTFs can use this). I have no experience with Depo Provera but I do know that triptorelin worked for me, it might be worth looking into. Not an American either so I don't know what is available there and how it works, but I wish you the best of luck.

No wonder you're passed off!  It hasn't atrophied at all?

oh man that sucks D= I thought I had it bad, has barely been 3 months for me - been getting them every two weeks since I started, pissing me off so much, I didn't have them before I started because I was on estrogen blockers

Is going on blockers an option for you? I have been considering asking my doctor if I can go back on them because the constant bleeding is doing my head in. I can't imagine how you feel still having them after a year on T  :(

Yikes, hopefully this will lead for you to getting your hysto covered by insurance. Then it'd be completely worth the hassle. I'd be pushing for them to take that route because if they can make that happen for you that's a 7 thousand dollar surgery you don't have to worry about paying down the line. Good luck man.
