I'm ftm 28 yrs old live in  small town in hickville pa...im new here n very confusedd how this site works....i have ben tryn 2 navigate n find things n it tells me im not allowed in the group or w/e...how i can edit my profile...but neways....im a fun lovin guy hate drama just lookin for friends as well as support bc ive put off my transition ue 2 a ifficult livn sitution past 3 yrs so its rlly ben gettn xtremly hard 2 deal. my gf/wife is awesome but everyone else calln me my birthname n girl just gets 2 me n makes me sick 2 my stomach...

So i joind here 2 hopefully find some friends who undderstans n can relate cuz my gf hsa difficult timre tryin 2 xplain 2 ppl who i am n 4 them 2 respec it or not mock me.. sayin AYDEN THEN TURNIN ROUN N LUGHN AT ME AS THEY SAY IT. rlly hurts or if my gf gets ina fight w her friends they call me a he/she wanab it n that i should ddie or kill myself im a frwak of natre kina thing.....so yea thats all ima say nething else u wanna know sk me ima open book..

My names Elizabeth and I'm knew to this as well. I'm the girlfriend of an ftm so I'm at the other end of the stick. I suppose it's not easy for us to open up about something that not a lot of people understand. The world is a cruel place sometimes, but then you have awesome people who make it amazing lol. And you have the support of your girlfriend. I'm sorry about those people saying cruel things, and maybe your girlfriend should rethink her own support systems if they can't accept the man she loves.
Because my boyfriend is pre everything and this is only the beginning, I haven't told my family or friends yet, just as he hasn't told many people either. But as the time approaches it becomes scarier. And I commend your girlfriend for having the guts to do so and stand her ground. In the end be proud of who you are and how far you've come, and always remember you have your girlfriends support, which is much more important than that of her friends.
People come and go in our lives, but once we find that love, it lasts forever!
