Well at the moment it seems fate has me stuck in Massachusetts for the moment, Anywho I am in need of the following, 1. A doctor for my meds in Mass., 2. Support groups for Transgenders, 3. A few friends. I am not asking for much but it does seem that Massachusetts lacks the love of my San Francsico.

The tcne.org website list therapists, electrolysis centers, and support group meetings in the area. Check their calendar for times and places. Hugs, Devlyn

For a doctor, go to Fenway Health www.fenwayhealth.org they have doctors that specialize in transgender medicine and will work with you on payment. If you are closer to the cape, you can try outer cape health services www.outercape.org.
For support I second the tcne. I have yet to go to a group myself even though tcne is a town over from me. I need to stop watching law and order every night and get out there.

Th so much ladies I called www.fenwayhealth.org and within minutes I had a Doctor, and an upcoming appointment next week. I only dread the distance from Lowell to Boston but I don't really because this is who I am and what I need. Believe me if I had to get somewhere to get what I need I'd crawl over ice to get there, you know? Thanks for the help.

The MBTA Commuter Rail runs from Lowell to Boston. They're clean, comfortable and have free wifi. Hugs, Devlyn

Lowell to Boston isn't all that far of a ride. It's quicker to drive if you have a car but than you would have to deal with parking. Are you going to the Fenway location or the one in backbay/south end?

No cars honey I am from San Francisco and if you can't afford a limo then don't own or buy a car, hehe

Thanks so much to all who aided me, I can only pray I can be as helpful and as encouraging. But after what seemed like 4ever I worked it out finally seems no one understands insurance here. Anywho my app. is December 18Th. 2012 on Boylston st. and I am so excited sorta I mean happy that such a p[lace exists outside of San Francisco and Manhattan, I mean it's a complete and full service center.......does that sound right ? Da so at last after so many people telling me not to med myself I have agreed to go get my blood levels and head checked (lol) kidding. I am happy now and thanks to all, muah !

I go to Fenway Health, too. They're wonderful there. My doctor is extremely friendly and fun to talk to -- I love her! The phlebotemist I usually get is also a wonderful person; she makes me laugh every time and she always makes sure to use a butterfly needle, so I barely feel a thing.

Oh, and there's a Burger King right next door. I usually get a chicken sandwich while I wait for my appointment (I always get there early). It's just a really convenient location. The subway gets off at Fenway station, which is barely a 3 minute walk from the hospital and you only have to cross two streets.

As for friendship, I'd offer but I'm all the way in Stoughton (it's next to Brockton). I'm really pretty far from you, but if you ever want to coordinate appointments or something, I'd be open to that. I don't have any friends like us, either, so I know how it can be to be lacking; I really hope you find some soon.

Anyhow, I think you're in wonderful hands with Fenway. I wish you the best of luck!
Why do I always write such incredibly long posts?
