WELL take it from me, a lot more people are into the hairy beast look than you'd think ;)
And pictures are posted now by the way, since you told me to go ahead and go for it.
:P
But yes, I'm like a bear.
Meow.

The only negative to pulling off the look an passing is I'm super short lol (5"7)

Super short? I never get the consensus of 5'5" and taller being extremely short. I'd love to be that tall seeing as I'm short even by female standards at 5'.

Know what you mean. I'm 5'2" and it's beginning to annoy me really much when people from 5'5" to 6' saying how small they are.

I just had to

Nice, I like how your tie matches your hair (at least in that lighting or my monitor's off). Is that an overcoat or a suit jacket? If it's a jacket, you might want to get the sleeves taken in a little; a man should generally have a 1/2 inch of his shirt sleeve showing, or 1/4 inch for guys under 5'5".

This.

I'm 5'1. It'd be a blessing to be 5'7.

Sorry if I came off as a jerk:/ didn't quite realize I'm average due to the standard here.
And it's actually my female suit jacket and shirt, I stole one of my brother's ties and just was messing around.

You didn't come off as a jerk at all. Some guys are sensitive about their height.

I think I saw on a site a while ago that you can get insoles that add an extra couple inches to your height.

I looked at some on ebay. Theres a couple of different types but you can buy a pair from China or something like that for $10 and that includes free shipping! So if they dont work or you dont like them, $10 isnt too much to lose  :P

wheat thins are delicious

They are called shoe lifts.  Googling can find you a bunch of websites that sell them.

Yeah, height's always a bit of a pain. Still waiting to grow a bit just to hit the 5' mark; my orthopedic at some point said that my spine appears to stretch and compress randomly (making me range from something under 4'10 to 4'10 and three quarters), which just sounds plain weird. I seem to be taking after my dad, though, which gives me plenty of time to gain some height.

So anyways, new pic! Got a minor haircut out of a compromise; felt like my mother was just giving me this avian glare the whole time as if she was daring me to try cutting it as short as I wanted.

I dunno, haven't really been in any situations where a stranger has addressed me so I haven't had any feedback on passing. Thought I'd show off the hair and the awesome sweatshirt in any case  :P

Regarding the lifts guys, you can get a lot of cheap ones, but you get what you pay for. You'll have to get a shoe size up as well to put them in and they work best in boots or high rising shoes. Don't expect to be able to walk too long in them either, you'll kill your feet. Prolong use will also tear up the inside of your shoes.

The best thing to do is to get elevator shoes. Some styles accentuate the fact that their lifts, so beware of sites that only show angled photos of the shoes. Also, they tend to exaggerate and say "you can gain 4 inches with this shoe" when in reality, you'll be lucky to gain 3 once you put them on. The best elevator shoes to get are obviously more expensive and from Don's. These shoes won't fall apart, but they're made from leather so you have to be looking for a specific style.

cheers guys.
