Joe.

I've always hated my periods and lately they've been coming less frequently due to stress I think so that has been good but lately I've been so comfortable in my own head as a guy and like I was finally becoming me and then today bam, my period came. I hate it and can't help but feel like its a massive smack in the face and my body saying haha look at you you're still a girl. I hate it. I don't know what's wrong with me lately. Is it normal to feel like this?

Yes. I normally don't eat enough or workout a lot, so my period doesn't come.

Have you ever thought about the pill to stop them rather than not eating etc?

If we can't promote self-medicating then I don't think we can really justify promoting other harmful practices like not eating to stop periods.  Yeah some of us do it understandably, but it's not healthy and carries serious risks.

The only way I deal with my periods is to wear two pairs of tight underwear so I feel safer, dark jeans just incase, and try to forget about it as much as humanly possible.  The pill has varying results and can feminise you more depending on what compound of hormones they have in them and your genetics.

I don't really know much about the pill and only suggested it as I know people who were prescribed it to stop periods and I thought its gotta be better than harming your body. I'll try the 2 pants thing. Just feel real crappy at the moment. Probably something to do with that stupid thing that came today.

Sorry two way, but if you eat so little you have no period then you are engaging in self-harm. It isn't something you want to recommend to anyone else. There are various safer ways, I don't like most of them for the female hormone aspects, but they would be better than harming yourself.
