Alright, so I'm posting this picture because you can't really see my facial hair here (minus the little bit on my chin). I wonder if I'd be able to "pass" without the facial hair. I also feel like my face looks much chubbier than my body.

@ Nygeel:

I think you might pass without it, but you'd look way younger [as is usually the case with men who have rounder faces and are clean-shaven].

@ Liminal:

I'd say you pass as someone who's a young teen.  :3  You remind me a lot of the students in 9th and 10th grade at where I student-taught.

Arawn: Hey, I'll take young teen male over older-looking female any day. Besides, that isn't so far off from my age. Now if only I could be allowed to actually transition in full...

Nygeel: I'd say you pass, but look kind of young, especially without facial hair. Are you pre-T? It seems like you are from the pic; it should be helpful in creating more defined facial features, resulting in a less "chubby" looking face.

In any case, you look fine to me IMO. Between the hair and the glasses, you look a little bit like an older version of that kid from Meet The Robinsons  :P

I've been on T for over two years.

That's interesting. Then again, my eyes are pretty much shot from attempting to look through some horrible microscope lenses for the past couple of days coupled with a distressing lack of sleep. Don't trust my opinion there XP
From what I know, nothing really finalizes on T until around 3-5 years, but even if your face doesn't change, you shouldn't have a problem passing. Just my two cents on the matter.

Plenty of girls seem to love a cute face, though :3

Edit: Yeah, moved into better lighting. Sorry about that- I'm kind of embarrassed now over that eyesight fail!

Sorry if I came off as a jerk:/ didn't quite realize I'm average due to the standard here.
And it's actually my female suit jacket and shirt, I stole one of my brother's ties and just was messing around.

I didn't think you were a jerk. I just get bummed hearing people say they are short when they are average male height. It's just height is a sensitive issue when you're raised around the ideal that men are supposed to be on the taller side. Especially when you see even cis men getting dissed on and rejected for being short because so many women at least are convinced men should be tall.

:)  And I'm right there with you, hahaha.  I look like I'm about 13 when I chop my hair off and try for passing. XD  But I also look like a younger version of my dad so it's all good.

First try at pre-everything make-up. How did I do? Someone on FTM UK said I look "Beowulfy".

Deeper thanswords,
Aethan, I definitely think you did good with the fake makeup...I can see simon is right, definitely a joey fatone...maybe mixed with fabio only since the hair is tossed :)  overall you look good.

I just had to
Lstanford,
I think you totally pass, in fact you look EXACTLY like my little cousin.  However, I do agree you look REALLY young.  I don't know how old you are, but from that pic i'd guess 14 to 15 year old range.  I personally think you look a bit older (maybe more legal :) ) with your hair a little darker blonde.

Thanks very much! Once I lose more weight, I'll probably get a more masculine haircut.

Yeah, you're only a year off of age, I'm only driving age haha. Luckily my hair's getting darker again, but I have yet to decide how I want to keep it.

Yeah I like the darker blonde, but both look good.  You're a young little cutie pie just like my cousin! He's a junior in high school, I swear he's got all the girls knocking his door down, and I'm sure so will you! :)

Bowl cuts have never been masculine. Now that they're also dated I'm not positive that one will help or hinder your efforts to pass.

When most guys first cut their hair/start dressing 100% male there is a lot of room for adjustment. Don't get discouraged but keep evolving your style (especially pre T) if you want to pass more.

Bowl cuts were popular with men in the 90's. I do agree that they're dated now, but at one point they were in style and a lot of guy had them.

A lot of females had them in the 90's too. I rocked one during my grunge phase in middle and high school (it was to my shoulders and buzzed underneath).

You've got the perfect facial structure IMO, but as mentioned, bowl cut is a little dated. I would try like Tom cruise length and if you want shorter, try an Ivy League. Can't go wrong with em!

It's a bit dated yeah, but you pass 100% to me.  Maybe it's an american thing, or just because I have no real interest in anything post 1960s, but I've never seen a woman with hair like that.
