Hi Everyone,

My name is Nicki from Sydney, Australia and I have just recently joined. After almost 25 years of self denial I have made the decision to allow my inner girl to emerge again. Over the past few weeks I have felt so happy, calm and relaxed as I rediscover my female side and I now it seems as if I have a clear path in front of me.

My plan is to work towards transitioning but having only just begun the journey and I'm slowly feeling my way forward. My SO has been very understanding and is even helping me with advice and hints as I start to relearn how to express my self as a women.

In my early twenties I lived as Nicki for several months in London but due to life commitments I returned to my male cover story and have been mostly hidden aver since. Unfortunately I have lost the girlish figure and looks of my youth and have a long journey of weight loss, hair removal/replacement ahead of me but I am determined to give this the best go I can.

I know that the path I've chosen may not be easy and I'm not sure how far along I'll make it but for the first time in many years I'm excited about the future.

Not that I don't deserve it.
We are a sick mob who have a bit of fun here but also are very helpfull and great girls.

I'm actually starting to enjoy it. 

Thank you all for your wonderful warm welcomes, I feel like I belong already. I'm normally quite shy socially but I'll try to come out of my shell and join in the fun too! I'm not a 100% sure about the  brandings though, they sound very painfull  

I've had a quick look around at the site and the forums and there seems to be so many caring, helpful people here with lots of really useful information and advice. i can see I have found myself in a pretty good place.

Don't tell anyone but the Aussie's joke a lot.  Thing is we have all these Yankee girls eating fried chicken. And the UK girls wear bowler hats, and the Euro girls keep saying stuff in French about where the toilet is.

Congratulations on your good start. A supporting SO is such a wonderful thing. If you are looking to get out and about in Sydney, let me know. I must be the social secretary of Sydney, attending something in the order of 10 regular functions throughout the month, you tend to get to know what everyone had for breakfast.
