Linsey

One day recently, after passing by this site so many times, I decided to join up and share some of myself with this family.
My CD experience goes back nearly 20 years, my first experience with female clothing was during my early teen years, I took a break to finish high school and a 4 year stint in the military.

The last 2 decades have been spent in near secrecy...my wife, family, co-workers and friends would not understand anything about the alternate life that I take time for. So I am a sort of 'secret agent' so to speak.

Everything has been much easier this way, I (Linsey) go off on several weekend trips every year, with many short 'day camps' thrown in for good measure. My work schedule
is very unusual and it enables me to be flexible as to my CD'ing adventures.
I was deemed very passable by a rather statuesque GF that gave me my first real lessons in cross dressing. She was absolutely stunned by my appearance as a hot Latina named Linsey, she introduced me to other sisters and friends immediately, we did dinner dates, movies, parties, I remember one sis in particular that refused to believe that I was a GM!

We parted ways a long time ago, she gave me a lot of confidence and skills to continue my endeavors in the CD world, I have been primarily solo all these years, but I have several sisters that I chat with, share photos, tips, and tell of my experiences.

On the road, I can go into the mini-mart where I buy gas, I might also get a drink and a snack, in the reflection of the cooler doors, I can see the employee checking me out, I smile as I walk to the counter, he rings up my purchase, asks if there is anything else I need, his eyes looking me over, I gently say no thanks, he says thank you very much ma'am, please come in again. I flush a little as I turn to leave. Another man holds the door open for me, his wife and kids behind him.

Sometimes when Linsey is out for a weekend trip, all dressed and made up, she looks at her reflection in the store windows, seeing herself there... long dark hair, smoky hot eyes, her nice shape, she wishes that in a blink...all this would be real.

See you all soon...
Linsey.

Linsey,

Welcome to Susan's!

So much of your story mirrors mine, and I hope you take a look around to explore the many facets of this site.  You sound as if you are working on your identity, and I've found that talking about it with the folks on her really helps a lot.

Best wishes, and again, welcome!

Hi Linsey,

Thanks for the intro, it sounds as if you are adjusting well to your need to crossdress and keep it separate from other facets of your life. I look forward to reading more.

Hugs,

Rhonda

Thank you everyone for the heartfelt welcome, I already feel at home here and enjoy all the stories, comments and advice from this family.

So much of the writings here reflect my own life and its many assets, joys and trials. I only regret that such a forum was not available to me 20 years ago, (who knows where or what I would be doing if there had been the kind of support that exists here). I guess that means I have a lot of time to make up, kind of like catching up with the family.

There is one desire in my life as a CD that remains unfilled...and that is for Linsey to attend a TG convention. That would truly be a huge step for me and also a lot of fun.  I have gathered from reading all the posts from sisters that have been to such events,
what a fun, informative and relaxing time one can have.

Linsey has been amongst the populace, shopping, dining, sometimes just strolling around watching people going about their own business. Of course there was also that edge of unsureness...is someone going to notice me, talk to me, etc... But after a while that all passes and I can go about my own biz like everyone else out there.

Well, its time to do some shopping for my upcoming road trip, I need a few new things, particularly a pair or two of comfy casual shoes, (I have enough heeled pumps!).
Maybe if a summer dress catches my fancy I'll buy that, of course theres always lingerie to consider. Jeans and blouses are also in order.

Hey there Linsey, welcome to the neighborhood.

Have you ever gone to a pool with multiple diving boards? this is pretty much what it was like when I was trying to find my way in the world. You get on one board and it feels a little scary but you jump anyways. Since you survived that one, you go a little higher next time. You keep doing this until eventually you reach the point of where you want to be at in life. This may sound a bit simplified and it might be, but the only thing that ever holds us back is our own perceptual fears.

Before any of us ever make the jump of the next diving board we are scared as hell as to what the outcome is going to be. If you feel you need people there to catch you when you fall then that is what we are here for.

Oh, and don't forget to read the site rules too ;)
