;D Ok now I found this website called Taaz Makeover's , and wow its pretty good, i think i found a good foundation color, makeup and concealer and everything else. I tied on some hairstyles and colors too, the possibilities are endless. And wow I think I actually look female here now, maybe a glimpse of the future? The picture kind of cuts off my face a little but It looks good.

*bleh i deleted these photos cause they just did not look as good as i thought*

*I will make some more*

Shawn, neither you nor I are teenagers anymore.  That sort of blue is not age appropriate.  I would try some more subtle earthtones.  Why not experiment with a classic smokey eye first?

Or even check out the YouTube channel of DivaDarlingChic?

Hmm ok i tried a different photo and a little darker foundation, darker more suttle blue, however thats my real hair, I wanted to get more input now before I try hair styles, and go on.

I don't care how old someone is, blue eyeshadow is just wrong.  Makes me think of mimi on the drew carey show.

I guess it just depends, but personally I like these colors here

 Ok I see what your saying now, you will have to forgive me, it has been a long time since I wore makeup and well, i have a lot of learning to do , however i think i found something that looks warm and balanced with a little color still. The Taaz program won't let me add eyebrows, as this photo I had them waxed too short, but i think this looks better than my previous attempts.

I like the hair too, as that's close to my natural hair when it gets a lot of sun.

That is good. Pretty natural looking and the hair compliments the face more.  Unless you're going clubbing or something, makeup should be fairly natural looking, used to emphasize the good and maybe mask some of the bad features.

What Jaime said

I would also stay away from that purple lipstick and go for something more natural.

The pics of the other girls you are posting are to show off the eye shadow makeup and its vivid brightness. It is, in no way, meant to suggest that is what is normal to wear. The girls you show can only get away with that in night clubs...at night and in the dark. The bright color makeups make up for the darkness in various places. It isn't meant to be worn around town......like glossy pantyhose. You never ever wear glossy pantyhose during the day time...those are kinda reserved for night time formal events (and that is kinda a stretch these days).

With that said...your cyber last pic of you is much much better

(Though I am not MTF, I still wear make-up to work, so I am not completely ignorant to how to apply it.)

I second what the ladies above have said, a more natural look would be better. I think it's best to start natural, and then you can eventually go into something a little more dramatic once you get comfortable and learn the appropriate conditions to wearing dramatic colors.

I think you'd look nicer with a softer colored eyeliner, the black under your eyes looks a little harsh, it might not look so harsh if you had darker eyebrows. At CVS and make-up stores, certain brands will advertise what color eyeliners/shadows/mascara will go best with certain eye colors. Also, some people will advise not to wear eyeliner on the bottom of your eyes if you get eye area wrinkles (which I don't see in your photos) because it can draw attention to the wrinkles or dark spots there.

If you're not sure what to get, you should go to a department store and get a makeover or consultation with one of the make-up girls. They'll try to sell you into getting their brand, but you can just write down what colors they used and what they did and get a similiar color in another brand or order it online cheaper if you don't want to pay their prices.

Also, an MTF on youtube, Princess Joules has some nice make-up videos.

Also to piggy back on learnedhand, I agree about the eyeliner. I wouldn't really eyeline the bottom portion. Very very few girls can get away with it.

Eyelining the entire eye will make your eyes to appear very small. I would recommend the top eye and just a small line until you can work with it. I use asphalt black ink with a micro tip brush. I don't really spend much money...I use eyeliner from hard candy. 6 bucks and it lasts 4 months with constant use

Makeup fashion is probably a little different in different countries but for the most part it tends to be similar... That said, I would avoid eyeshadow all together. Nobody really wears it very often, maybe at formal events like weddings and such but yeah.... Nothing screams late transitioning trans woman quite like blue eye shadow... And nail polish... and purple fishnets.. In the afternoon lol. I agree with Annah on the eyeliner, very few people line the lower lid, it's not really "in" at the moment. Some people will line their water line with white as it makes your eyes look bigger.

Buy a few eye shadows, eye liner and mascara and practice at home. See what other women your age and colouring wear and try it yourself.Stay away from blue eye shadow go for brown, gold and bronze.Eyeliner is still used a lot in England, by the sound of it it has stopped being popular in America but that doesn't mean you shouldn't wear it if you want to.

Eye shadow isn't really used in my part of the US anymore... eyeliner is only used in small amounts here too. Where I'm at, the trend for girls is to look as natural as possible (which sucks for many MtFs who need quite a bit of makeup). Here, you'll find girls usually only wear some foundation (maybe), some powder (usually), a little bit of eyeliner (sometimes), some mascara if their lashes are really thin, and lip gloss. Honestly I haven't seen a smokey eye in months and I almost never see anything but neutral eye shadow colors, if any at all.
To dream of the person you would like to be is to waste the person you are.

To be honest, hun, why don't you go out and get some things and have a friend help you get yourself made up and take a snap and forgot these internet editors. Anyway, I concur with the others, eye shadow is best to be avoided.

a few things to consider when doing these virtual makeover and virtual FFS...

#1.  They are crude in their detail

#2.  They don't blend

#3.  They don't give you any semblance of a realistic outcome.

First things first, if you are interested in the VFFS and Virtual Makeover option, you need a good STRAIGHT shot of your face.. preferably your whole body.  The higher definition pic, the better.  Second is not angling your face up or down.  Level heads make it much easier to achieve balanced and proper proportions.  3rd is not using bright colors unless you REALLY want people to focus on that area.  If you post a good.. straight on... high-def pic, I'm sure one of us could give you something that would be far more appealing to you.
