I am near Dallas, but I only have medicare for insurance right now, don't have medicaid here.  So I am limited. I looked and could not find anyone.

those are just the first three I found.

I found a place for transgender people in my area who can get counseling and start the process for 6 dollars an hour without insurance. Just gotta know where to look

I really don't have any options for seeing anyone here right now in Texas.

I found Dr Carr's site very interesting and just emailed her a long message and a couple of things I have written. Thanks for giving those links.

On the subject of coming out. I just came out to my youngest son tonight and he has been beyond wonderful. I knew he was a loving, compassionate, and understanding young man, and he has shown all of that and more. I am so proud and humbled to be his parent it leaves me almost speechless!

Good luck to you Shawn, regardless of what you choose to do I sincerely hope it works well for you. I sympathize since I share some of your concerns and I am at much the same place you are.
