My girlfriend says she no longer likes the scent I have down there (I'm 2 months on T) and that it's been getting worse as time goes on. I shower right before we do anything, and as soon as I - trying to make it appropriate here - "lubricate" lol (I like just calling it c**), that's what doesn't smell that good, especially since my body produces 10x more of it (whoever said you get vaginal dryness down there?! Glad I got the reverse lol) My girlfriend said she used to crave the scent and taste pre-T, now she always puts lube on me to avoid it, and it makes me feel self-conscious. Before when I asked here "Put some lube on me?" she'd say "No, I want your natural taste because I love it so much". She says don't worry about it now, but I can't help feeling weird. My girlfriend is into girls only (that's a different story, but we've been together for 2 years, and I'm sure we'll work out because she puts a lot of effort into it, and I'm her first love). Oh and, it's never the vagina itself, smells neutral, no scent.

well.. it's natural you get another smell on T. its gonna smell more like a penis, and your fluid gonna be more sperm-alike. I think its rhater hard to ignore, even when you shower everyday.

I have no problem with it at all, I can't smell it from a distance or anything, it just makes me self-conscious because I'm a super clean person (even though it has nothing to do with that) and my girlfriend never ever mentioned it, I regret asking her if she noticed a difference now 

hmm yeah, I had abit simmular. my last fb is super clean, He showers like 3 times at day (cause he do alot of sport and so) and really go into every single detail.
as I start on T I got this smell (as you do) but I been kinda felling wierd cause he rather let me give him oral than opposite but I got him in the end, cause I just say fair is fair"

I think its pretty natural you felling self conscious if she say she dont like it, and expect you to put alot of efford on it, yet say she prefern your natural.

all I can say is whatever you feel clean or not, if your taking a proper showever every day, and your havent been out working hard on something then You are clean and you dont need to worry about being nasty cause your so clean as you can. (btw sex is nasty anyway) I think its cool being clean but somethimes its also better to say "whatever" with the small details.

I think maybe it takes some time to get used to and you might get a little push, but after some time I think you wont worry as much, I dont think much about how I used to smell anymore I got time to get use to it, but since your 2mounth in I think you and she still compares your smell before and after, and yeah lets admit it you sleep better preT than after T, your skin is also softer, and all those details. but I think after a time you both will forget more on how you used to be and by not comparing I think it will be less of a deal I hope so.

Yeah, having a similar problem over here. It's kinda starting to smell like new brake shoes. That's the only thing I know that smells similar I'm also a super clean person, I try to keep everything down there spiffy, but now? I can get out of the shower and 20 minutes later even I can get a whiff. And you're right, it's just the goo. Which, for me, has kicked into overdrive production. I'm personally just hoping it eventually goes away/dies down. I thought we were supposed to dry out downstairs, not turn into a swamp... If this goo doesn't slow down I might need some Depends

I always had trouble with dryness down there, but that all stopped on T. When I was horny 24/7 (that lasted for more than a year), I was, well, damp 24/7. As my insane horniness began to abate, so did the excess moisture. But the odor only diminishes; it doesn't go away completely. And the flavor will stay "male."

My ex was a straight guy. We were still having sex for a few months after I started T, but he became very uptight and uncommunicative, so he didn't explicitly say that my new scent bothered him. I'm sure that it did, and I know he didn't like the taste--he suddenly stopped performing oral sex. I, on the other hand, was turned on even more because I'm into guys and now I smelled like a guy. That in turn made me even hornier.

We're talking about very fundamental reactions that people can't control. I couldn't help being turned on by my new scent, and he couldn't help being turned off. The wetness did reduce over time, but by then I was a single man, and so was he.

I haven't noticed any smell changes yet with my body except my armpits stink more often. Used to be fine if I forgot to put on deodorant every once in awhile. Not anymore. If I forget I have to stop somewhere and buy some.

I have noticed one difference down there. When I c** the fluid is thicker. Still clear and no smell...just thicker. Hate to be gross but it has the consistency of snot.

I was starting to think I was abnormal because I also get completely the opposite of the dryness we're supposed to get as a side effect, the opposite seems to actually be the norm.

I really don't have any advice for you I'm afraid, I have the same problem, it's the same for just...general sweat and smelliness. Before T I could easily go a week without a shower before it was noticeable (not that I did this often I feel I must say ) but now it's barely a few hours before I feel disgusting.

The only thing I can think of....I vaguely remember seeing something somewhere that you can put inside and it sort of dissolves and gives out a nice smell, I think it was a Japanese website I saw it on. Saying that though I agree with Natkat, she will probably get used to it eventually and only notices it because it's different to what she's used to.

Not to put a damper on things (oig, that pun wasn't intentional, but I'll leave it there because it's a real groaner), but I wouldn't count on it. Someone who is exclusively into women might never get used to the smell and taste.

Fwiw, it's rumored among cis-people that...bodily fluids...will taste better (esp with guys) if one's diet has a lot of sweet fruits (peaches, pears) and very little to no red meat, or spicy foods.

This might or might not help, I've never tried it myself.

You raise a good point actually. I'm similar to you in this regard...I tried so so hard to like girls but it never worked out.

Well, there's not really anything that you can do about it.
As long as you're on T, your fluids are going to continue to smell that way.
Men and women smell differently, even down there.
She's either going to have to get used to it, or you guys are going to have to find some kind of compromise that makes the two of you at least somewhat happy.

My ex ate pineapple for months, hoping to achieve said result. I'm sure it might have worked if he wasn't such a heavy smoker. Apparently that bitters everything to the point that fruit can do no help

The whole opposite of dry thing, im definitely experiencing that. As for a different smell? im not quite sure

Female humans (and, apparently, at least some trans men) tend to screen potential mates by smell, even if they aren't aware of it. If body scent can be a deal-breaker before a relationship has a chance to get started, it could be a factor in an existing relationship. I guess it all depends on how much the person depends on that sense.
