Hi y'all - so I just wanted to drop by and introduce myself...I'm Summer (my recently decided upon name).  For some background, I'm a mid-30s y/o MTF, just recently started on HRT.  Like some of y'all, I knew early on that I was "different" from the other boys, and it's been a long trek to get here...(hopefully the view will be worth it!).

More general stuff about me - I'm a cyclist, lining up for both the 5s and stand-alone TTs (some will know what I mean), but obviously only in the Men's.  Still plan on competing a few more times in 2013 (again, obviously only in the Men's), so we'll see how things go with the HRT-associated changes.   I fully anticipate that my cycling season will be an epic FAIL (!!!), as my current winter weight is already lower than my peak competitive weight (there is, afterall, that fine balance between weight and power...).  Anyways, these body changes go with the territory, and it's all for a greater goal...

Other hobbies - photography, mainly street photography, street portraiture, and sports photography (esp bicycle racing, but more focused on the people in the sport, than the actual "action" of the sport...if that makes any sense).

Anyways, I'm sure more info will be divulged as I post more in the forum, but I thought I would give a short intro.  I will say I am happy there is a fitness section in this forum, and from my short time here, a few other cyclists (I know I will have some cyclist specific questions).

Hope everyone is having a great holidays, and hopefully the new year will be fantastic for all!

(as an aside - I picked Summer as my name, since it was during this past Summer [July 2012], that I formally (re) started my transition).
