WaRori

Hello everyone! I am new here so let's get started :3

My name is Julia and I am 22 years old. I am transgender MTF and I am currently not on hormones.. I am a complete virgin genetically I suppose you could say. ^^

I've known about this since I was 8 years old and have not had an easy time in my life concerning family and the like. I've told my parents multiple times and each time I have been shunned or called names until I told them it was just a phase. I hardly have any support, just from a few friends that live a bit away from where I do.

As of 2013 I am starting to look for counseling, HRT, and everything in between! I'd love to do it this year, because I will turn 23 in June and it's something I want to start before it's too late. (It's a legitimate fear of mine, it depresses me every day of how held back I am) It shall be interesting considering I am jobless (can't get one, no matter where I go) and have no health insurance, but it will be an interesting ride nonetheless. I also have Aspergers, but in more of a minor way than a major way.. and I am socially awkward as well, so I don't make friends easy or anything like that.

My interests include learning languages, music production, japanese culture, europe, video games, and technology. :3 I am also starting cosmetology school this year!

As of 2013, albeit hiding it from my parents, I do go out of the house full time whenever possible and I am amazed of how much courage I've grown. Before I wouldn't even leave the house without a friend present. So it's getting better for me :)

If you're curious of how I am looking, then my Photobucket album is in my signature full of pictures from late 2012 to today.

I hope to make some friends, get support when I need it, support others when they need it, and be all around helpful and active here ^^ I dunno what else to say, and I am nervous beyond all belief, so I bid farewell for now!

The main things to remember in life are Love, Kindness, Understanding and Respect - Always make forward progress

Superficial fanny kissing friends are a dime a dozen, a TRUE FRIEND however is PRICELESS

Hi Julia, :icon_wave:

Welcome to our little family. Over 9614   strong. That would be one heck of a family reunion.

Feel free to post your successes/failures, Hopes/dreams.  Ask questions and seek answers. Give and receive advice.

But remember we are family here, your family now. And it is always nice to have another sister.

Hi Julia, welcome to Susan's Place! Don't be nervous, we all have up-to-date rabies shots. I live near Boston, our members come from all over to become part of our extended family. As you have. Jump in anywhere you have a contribution or thought, we look forward to learning about you. Hugs, Devlyn

Woah, that's crazy. I just happen to be an MTF with Asperger's syndrome, bad luck finding jobs, and interest in Japanese culture, technology and making music too.

We have everything in common! We must become friends!  ;D

Hi Julia, and welcome.  I looked at your photobucket album, and I saw some photos of you in a horizomtal striped top and a skirt.  You figure looks quite feminine.

Hi Julia,

Welcome from Australia.

I remember being 23, vaguely

[I think Devlyn needs one of those collars to stop her barking as well.]

Devlyn

Oh no, I've started a needle thread! Don't worry, Cindy, I won't be barking. <passes out on floor>

Soooooo sad :icon_cry: to hear that Janet. Maybe it best we just "put her down" Is there any hope of resurrection at this late stage?

I'll meet you at the pet crematorium with arm bands. (sob, sob) :icon_cry:

Hi julia,

A big Aussie welcome to Susan's family. It's good of you to drop in and say "Hi". Hope you like it here, and you stay for a while.

There is a mountain of information, resources and friendship waiting for you here, you just need to jump in start talking and ask any question you like. You're quite safe here and we are very accepting.

Glad to hear somethings are starting to work out for you. Don't get into too big a tizz about the age thingy. 23 is uber young when compared to us geriatrics.

Looking forward to hearing more of your story in time to come, but in the meantime, be safe, well and happy.

Lotsa huggs
Catherine
