Hi there!
Obviously, I'm new.
My name is Onni, I am FTM, I like moths, and I am currently going through a hard time right now. I've been openly trans for almost 3 years now, but this new school I'm going to doesn't seem to understand and have been giving me a hard time. I was looking around, and I feel like this is a safe place, and maybe people will understand me here.
I'm looking forward to making friends, getting to know you all, and hopefully getting some help here.

Is your name an Amanda Palmer reference?

If so, I think I adore you already.

If it's not, ampersands are still pretty awesome on their own though.
I plan on getting a tattoo of one.
Meow.

Welcome to our little family. Over 9628 strong. That would be one heck of a family reunion.

Feel free to post your successes/failures, Hopes/dreams.  Ask questions and seek answers. Give and receive advice.

But remember we are family here, your family now. And it is always nice to have another brother.

And be sure to check out these links ( MUST READS )

No, haha, my name isn't really a reference to anyone. It's just the word form of the & symbol. I've just always loved those.

Anyway, everyone here is so nice. I appreciate everyone's kindness, I feel so loved here. Thank you all so much, just reading all your posts is making my day happy. I haven't had a happy day in a while. c: Thanks.

Hi Onni, welcome to Susan's Place! I like moths, too. We had the winter moth season here in Boston a couple weeks back. See you around the site, hugs, Devlyn

Hi Onni,

A big Aussie welcome to Susan's family. It's good of you to drop in and say "Hi". Hope you like it here, and you stay for a while.

There is a mountain of information, resources and friendship waiting for you here, you just need to jump in start talking and ask any question you like. You're quite safe here and we are very accepting.

Glad you found us and thank you for sharing a part of your life with us. Not an easy thing to do at the best of times.

Moth. MOTHS. You love MOTHS. Come to the Land of Oz, east coast in particular. We have absolute hordes of bogan moths from the southern highlands invade us every year. And they get in simply everywhere. I hate 'em. Come and get them. I'll even export them to you. Enjoy your stay.

Looking forward to hearing more of your story in time to come, but in the meantime, be safe, well and happy.

Lotsa huggs
Catherine

Thanks for all the hello's again. c: Sorry I was kind of inactive for a few days, I was busy with school and such. I'm still learning to navigate this site. So glad to know that this is a good, safe, friendly place to be. You're all so kind.

Oh and it's great to hear about all those moths C: I absolutely love moths, the Satuniidae in particular, (those are these big friendly silk moths) sadly the only ones I can ever see here are the Polyphemus and the Luna. I'd love to see more of those but the moth season here isn't for another 4 or 5, maybe 6 months. I shouldn't bore you all with moths, sorry. cx

Still, thanks for the very warm hello! I appreciate it greatly.
