Alright, so like a lot of people I've got back acne. More specifically, I only have back acne. Now, I used to have quite a few pimples on my face but got 'em under control using some acne wash and non oil based acne fighting lotion when I got dry patches. Has anybody found a way to help get rid of back acne? I know the methods on my face should help my back but it's pretty darn hard to actually reach the spots that have it.

This is what I have...is it not "that bad" compared to what other people have seen and experienced?

Like you, I don't have bumps on my face (most of the time. I get one here or there occasionally) but my shoulders/back get a lot of acne. Mine is not too bad at the moment. I have probably five or so big ones and that's it. I do notice that the more I have to bind the more I get which makes sense.

I don't think there is a way to get it all to go away while we're in our second puberty and binding. I use an antibacterial bar soap (either Safeguard or Dial Gold) to wash with. I bought a couple hand towels to use as wash cloths. I lather them up with soap and since they're long it's easier to really scrub my whole back.

a good soap my doc recommended lever 2000 it helped me.

I used neutrogena acne wash and it helped quite a bit.

Alright, so I guess part of the question is "how do I really reach there?" I can't do major exfoliating (like I do with my face) because I can't scrub as hard or reach the right spots.

I use St. Ives Apricot Scrub and scrub gloves which has cleared mine up a treat. Just need to remember not to use it every time (three times a week is good, four if it's really bad and you need it gone fast) and to moisturize afterwards because it strips and tightens your skin.

Nygeel: Loofah on a stick or a back brush is a good bet. They're like £3 in a bargain shop like Savers.

Get one of those loofahs on a stick (OK, someone beat me to this, lol).  It helped me, along with rinsing a lot to make sure the soap all comes off after. It's harder to rinse off the back than all the other parts.

Only issue with the loofah on a stick is they can't be put in the washer/dryer and harbor bacteria. That's why I use hand towels (I know it sounds strange but it works).

There's also these natural sponge things on a stick, I am not sure if they harbor bacteria or not, that would really exfoliate your back (but the sponges are kind of hard so it's not the most pleasant thing to use).

I found a generic acne soap which is similar to neutrogena acne soap.  It smells the same and has the same ingredients, but costs much less.  Konnor

My Mum used to have this issue with them too until I got some sanitizing tablets for things like baby bottles. Every once in a while I fill the sink, dump it in and add a tablet. Come back half an hour later and it's sanitized, smelling fresh and ready to go. The tablets are much cheaper than fluid and work much better on loofahs in my opinion because they fizz through the whole thing.

i use one of those scrubby things, i think the manly brands call them "shower tools" or something like that. I'm not sure how but it reaches better than just a wash cloth.

I second the St Ives Apricot Scrub suggestion. I like that stuff. Just from that picture your bacne doesn't look as bad as it could. I've seen worse on a couple of cisguys. Also I had one boyfriend who had it really serious but he was 18 and it kinda cleared up as he aged.

I mostly get it when I don't wash my binder often enough but it tends to go away on its own pretty quickly.

The dollar stores often have inexpensive back scrubbers so you can replace them frequently so they don't harbor bacteria.
