Alright, I am going to start Estrogen sometime this week. ;D I was just wondering if my hips would grow and my shoulders shrink. I have been on hormone blockers seance I was late 13 early 14. I am told that I do not have much to any male physical characteristics besides the obvious and my face. Though I have been told I can pass as a girl. So I do not really have to worry much about anything except my face, shoulders, and hips. I have been told that when you start early like I will. Your hip bones actually grow, and that allot of the mass on your shoulders is cartilage that can be broken down with hormones. I was currouse if this is true ???. For an I idea of my proportions. I where a size 32 A bra, I am 5'10, and weigh about 160. I have almost no muscle mass to speak of in my arms though i do have some on my abdomen (Abs, I have no I idea where they came from, they must be from all the getting up from the couch XD) I where size 10-11 shoes depending on with ( Size eleven are a bit to long, I just have really wide feet XD). I where size Medium dress comfortably a large is kind of baggy. Thnx and as always luv!!!!!! Sasia

For me HRT did both jobs just fine (and not only those), though from the start I was looking girly (the puberty was merciful for me). The hips and buttocks were added the mass significantly lately, after 1 year on HRT.

Atleast for me it did.

My hips are getting much wider now to be honest. I cant even fit in to the pants that I used just a few months ago. And all fat seems to go to my behind :P. And I am 29.

Also the waist is alot thinner than before.

hips definitely wider(even my co worker comments on it), for shoulders and arms you get fat distribution but remember your hard bones will never change.  Butt is larger to as a result of redistribution of fat.

My thighs look very, feminine even in my tighter man jeans.  Because they are not made to accommodate these thighs so they hug them nicely.

Yes I went from 34" to currently 37/38" in my hips 10 months of hrt. Shoulders have gotten smaller but not small enough yet. I had wide hips to begin with prior to hrt. Before I started weight lifting I had smallish shoulders for a guy at that age (16). I'm hoping hrt does the trick and takes them back close to what it was before I gained all of that muscle mass.

Depending on 1.)what age you started Oestrogen 2.) what age you started puberty. 3.) your approx body dimensions. 4.) the up take of HRT effect on your body, may all influence your hip displacement and growth inhibitor hormones.

It's something you need to discuss with your health professionals, as you need to know exactly what is happening to YOUR body. You are responsible for it. No one else. Ensure you keep a copy of all tests, as you may later move around or between countries.

Hope you see some desired results
