My T doctor is dragging out the increase of my dosage, so I'm curious to see how long it took other people to reach a full dose of T.  Also, if you went slower, how long did it take for you to start noticing changes?
Started T - Sept. 19, 2012
Top surgery - Jan. 16, 2017

It took me 4-5 months to get on the dose I was on up until the 2 year mark. My T levels came in the target range but it was making my blood pressure and cholesterol worse. It kept climbing even when I dieted in an attempt to lower. So, I lowered my dose by about 10%.

I answered in about 11-12 months -- since that is what the "normal" full dose is .... I am above that now ... I am above average on dosage.  I have had my T levels in the normal male range since the fourth month -- and I am still in the normal man range but my dosage has increased to above normal range since I am not experiencing changes like I feel I should and my doctor agrees.

Full straight away for me. If I had been put on low dose after waiting for it for 4 years I would have hit the roof xD

I voted over a year. I started at 1/2 "normal" dose with bi-weekly injections and then got to 3/4 "normal" dose after 6 months. At a year I got to essentially 7/8 "normal" dose and unfortunately I was denied full dosing then and 3 months after, though I managed getting onto weekly self injections at that time. ... Now I'm on a full dose and I'm feeling pretty good about it. I'll get to see where I'm at level wise in another few months.
I'll be there someday, I can go the distance
I will find my way, If I can be strong

A couple of months over a year. I think that's because I was underage when I started.

I'm still not at a full dose. I've been on T since 15. I should probably be on a full dose by now but my endo is pretty conservative.

I voted 7-8 but now that I think about it, I think it was longer than that.

I'm on Testogel and I'm using the full bag of it once a day. The prescription told me start with half dose and keep it up for 3-4 weeks, most likely to get my body introduced to higher levels of T.

Well, that gel stuff will be going on for another ~2 months and then I'm moving to injections.
Full dose from the start.

I was put on a full dose right away. However, due to increased blood thickness, my doc actually lowered my dose at around 8 months. Th endo was convinced that I was abusing and overusing my dosage (even though I went through the vials at the exact rate I should have).
