I found this online suspiciously close to Valentines Day and most likely the work of Whitman's Chocolate company. Just the same it's one lie I prefer to fall for because an occasional handful of Hershey's chocolates just does it for me!  ;D

Chocoholics, rejoice. You now have permission not only to indulge, but also to be only half joking when you claim the plant-based food is your favorite vegetable. Plenty of research shows that chocolate is laced with antioxidants that lower blood pressure and cholesterol, reduce inflammation, and boost endurance. And—not that you need more arm-twisting—it can actually be good for your waistline: Researchers at the University of California in San Diego found that people who regularly indulge in chocolate (as many as five servings a week) had a lower body-mass index than those who mostly go without. That doesn't mean you should plow through an entire Whitman's Sampler in one sitting. This assorted mix lets you reap the benefits without feeling the guilt.

Hmm I just realized why I should never transition. I'm the only woman on the planet that despises chocolate. I'd be clocked for sure.

Does that include hot chocolate?  :)

I hated dark chocolate when I was a kid but I like it now.

Weird how that works out, eh?

Dark chocolate is suppose to be pretty good for you. I don't see how chocolate would hurt anyone's diet plan unless they pound an entire bag of Hershey's chunks that come wrapped in the silver foil like I did once. It gave me a headache and suddenly I got so tired that I had to take a nap. The wizards say anything in excess isn't good, they're right!

I don't even know why I bother going to the gym now and working out >:-) I do love chocolate though, but I am very careful of how much I eat. I do have a fondness for Lindt chocolate, and my favorite is Lindt chocolate with sea salt.

Lindt chocolate with sea salt, where do I find that? I live in the Pacific NW and haven't seen that before.
