My jeans/pants are ALWAYS either too tight or too loose...i wear em lower than my waist so i buy 30"s cuz i can never find 28 or 29 anyway and if i bought those sizes i couldnt put em in the dryer...but im worried since im 6month on t about losing hip/thigh weight...my body fat has already shifted a good deal but now i dont wanna spend money on stuff that wont fit in a few months. Also wit the 30s i have a good amount of stretch and room in between myself and the jean...but they arent falling off when i stand or jump...jus a lil loose

Not well! They are too big in some places (legs, etc) and too small in others (hips) or whatever. I fit in a boy's 20 Hefty, but sadly the pockets aren't as good.

Being Pre-T, I've got too much thigh and butt to fit into most men's jeans :C I've been planning on going to try some boys' husky jeans since they're shorter and maybe will fit...
Right now I've just got some average-fitting bootcut women's jeans :P They're androgynous enough...

Mine fit pretty well once I find a good pair. I'm just kinda small around the waist and have relatively long legs so I usually have to find jeans with different waist and in-seam sizes.
Then again, I like to wear pants that are slightly too big for me because my legs would look like toothpicks in skinny jeans (I guess that makes them perfect for such pants) and I can always hang them around my waist with a belt.

I'm pre-t.  I've got a pretty big butt and bodacious hips, although my shoulders are wide enough that the portions are masked a little.  I can wear baggy men's jeans ok, but when I start wearing jeans my size, they hug my butt and hips and accentuate them.  Lately I've been going with khaki cargo pants.  They're nice and loose but don't look overly baggy and mask almost everything.
In between the lines there's a lot of obscurity.
I'm not inclined to resign to maturity.
If it's alright, then you're all wrong.
Why bounce around to the same damn song?

Since being on T my shape has changed a lot and it's still changing. I wouldn't recommend investing in a new wardrobe right now.

I'm Pre-T and currently have to get 38 or 40 [once 42] when it comes to pants.  They're either too short, too baggy, or too tight depending on the cut.  I'm hoping this changes a little bit upon T, but I can't be certain given my height and just how big my hips are.

I wouldn't go out and buy a whole new set of clothing just yet.  But looking for boy's jeans at a thrift store might help you in the meantime.

What I did is basically look for *one* pair of jeans that fit. Once I found the one pair, I had a brand name. I think the hefty might work, because of the little extra room it gives in the waist/hips area. Sizes 18-20 might work. One of them I actually did NOT have to take up. Amazed me.

Overall boys 14 or 16 fit me very well, except that when I wear khakis the pockets kind of stick out because of my hips. I am sure there's a way I could alter the pockets to keep them from sticking out, but I just don't feel like sewing right now.

It's incredible how you guys can wear such small boys pants :O  I had to shift to men's sizes when I was about 11.
Right now I'm 32 in regular jeans, 34 in skinny jeans because of my butt -.- But generally, 32-33, length 30. I stand 5'7, about 5'8 in shoes or more. Jeans fit better on me than pants, until my butt fat redistributes. I try to find jeans that dont make it stand out much, and I tend to wear shirts that are slightly covering it. Picking jeans out is a 2 minute thing for me  ;D

I'm amazed that you all wear such large trousers. 14 year old boys tend to fit me reasonably well in both length/waist, don't know how I'll get them to fit if I need a smaller waist on T. I've a pair of 28" that just about fit but wouldn't dream of wearing without a belt, and a pair of 27" that just look stupid in the seat. St of my jeans I've had for years, so I rarely buy any new.

My biggest problem is that I generally fit in a 30-32, but I need a 28 or shorter inseam. :P Mostly gotta hem any mens' jeans I get.

Haha, I need waist size 30 (which is still a bit too big for me) and in-seam 30-32. :D Long legs...

Same. When I was ten I started wearing bigger sizes, boys 16 I believe and grew out of them quickly with my hips thighs and butt growing so big. Dam that e puberty.

To the op, I'd say thrift store is a good deal $1-7 jeans is a steal if you find a good fit, just hunt around.

How every pair of jeans this with length. This ifs the shortest available length. Boys husky fitted better, but I have a little too much booty.

I feel like an idiot about this seeing yall talking about taking in and hemming stuff. My pants never fit right and I stopped trying a long time ago. Even when I find a pair I like they're always too long (my pelvis is wide even when I'm underweight) and it never crossed my mind to hem them or otherwise alter them by sewing. I always just roll them up or cut them off. Hmm.
