how to find local TS group? I feel I am alone...

Where are you?

Just the general area, not your address.

I am currently on my study in U of Adelaide, Australia, and I feel alone, too.

That's certainly understood.

There are a number of support services offered by your university.  http://www.adelaide.edu.au/counselling_centre/links/

If you Google Adelaide Transgender Support there are a number of places in that area.

I can't recommend any since I'm in the UK. But we are always here. You keep posting, tell us about yourself, feel free to join in the conversations.

I will apologise on behalf of our Mods. By now they would normally have given you a welcome and told you about out TOS, basically simple rules, such as respecting others.

We also have several members who are from various parts of Asia. But you should feel free to join in with any of the conversations if you have something you want to say. That's what we do, we chat, we support.

Whoops I missed you people.

Welcome to the site, read the rules in the announcement section and join on in.

OK.

Easy ways to find TG services? Google for them in your hometown !

In Adelaide there is NO excuse.

I live in Adelaide, as do Kelly and Sarah who are both on the site.

Adelaide and Australia in general is probably the most trans friendly place to be! There are many girls in Aus on the site and we catch up and their are several guys in Aus and in Adelaide on this site.

OK in Adelaide.

Carrousel Club. www.carrouselclub.com

The carrousel club used to meet monthly in a private and secure setting and meet bimonthly in either the Directors Pub or the Edinburgh Castle Hotel Currie st. check the website. Because I don't know what dates they meet, years since I've been.

You can always email me.

Both Adelaide Uni, Uni SA and Flinders have excellent counselling services.

Oh I have a Professorial appt at Flinders. So being TG in the Adelaide Unis is no big deal at all.

So, join on in and don't be nervous, that is all in the past.

Not sure what you're asking love.

Can you be a bit clearer?  :)

Googling "Eugene Oregon transgender" gives somewhere to start:

http://www.queereugene.com/trans/

Hope that helps!

Oops, I thought OR was the word. I thought you were presenting and either!

Appreciate Americans love their abbreviations. But the rest of us don't always know.

The places suggested by Ani are a good start. I know we have a number of people here from Oregon.

While Googling "Yourtown" works if it is large metro area, when you live in the boonies it takes time, patience, and creativity at forming search terms. I live in hillbilly country and it took me about 3 months of several hours a night before I found a "Local" TG group, BTW-some 90 miles away. Compared to the drive to Pittsburgh or to Baltimore or DC it is local

You could try contacting info@thecounselinghut.org, they are in Eugene.  Maybe they can give you local info.

Thank you so much. I have just seen a GP yesterday (It was the first time I tell another people who is not a TS) and she says she will choose a good psychologist and a endocrinologist for me by Wednesday. Now I am waiting for her call. There's still a long way to go, and I believe I will soon get more and more familiar with you as I go further into this.
